General:
Apartment is newly furnished and decorated to modern taste. Located in a prime position within the counrty club complex with its own undercroft garage with electric garage door to keep your car cool. Being on the second floor allows great open views of the Monchique Mountains from the rear balcony and views of the pool and sunsets from the front balcony. The central leisure complex closes at 8.00pm providing a tranquil setting which is perfect for a Mediterranean evening meal watching the sun set. The apartment is in an excellent position within the complex yet sufficiently distant to enable privacy. The Oasis Parque country clubresort in which the apartment is located comprises mainly villas in their own grounds and 2 storey apartments. This is ideal for holidaymakers who want the facilities of a hotel in a self-catering holiday. The climate is like an english summer in the winter averaging 60/70f (Nov-Apr)and averages 70-100f in summer (May-October).
Local Area:
Beautiful beaches of Alvor, Praia de Rocha & Praia du Vau within 10 minutes drive. The complex is situated in an ideal location with many nearby busy coastal towns on your doorstep. They each have a variety of shops, restaurants & bars to suit all tastes and budgets. The fishing harbour of Alvor is favoured for sea front restaurants, BBQ the days catch and serving it to you on the sea front whilst the sun sets over the harbour. For lively late night entertainment visit the heart of Praia de Rocha. There are tourist shops in Alvor and Praia De Rocha yet boutiques and traditional shopping in Portimao. A trip into the Monchique Mountains just 10 minutes drive away allows you to explore the traditional Portugal and some of the history surrounding its colourful past. There are 2 aqua parks 20 minutes drive away, Portugal Zoo 30 minutes away and an Aqua Zoo 30 minutes away. The New Marinas of Praia da Rocha, Portimao and Lagos are well worth a visit as is the old harbour of Alvor.
Golf:
The Algarve is famous for its excellent golf courses and provides the perfect climate for golf throughout the English winter, when Portugals weather resembles an English summer. The complex is surrounded by many established golf courses. 5 minutes drive from Penina, Palmares and Alto Golf. 20 minutes from Carvaeria. 25 minutes from sister Golf resort of Boavista in Lagos where 10% discount on greenfees can be arranged. The leisure facilities provide an alternative should you wish to have a break from golf and the indoor pool, jacuzzi and bar/ restaurant provide a welcome return after a round of golf.
