This delightful 2 bedroom air conditioned apartment,is just 30 steps away from the beach. All rooms lead on to a long and large balcony which allows alfresco dining, or just relaxing on sun loungers with a glass of wine and a good book. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with the usual washing machine, fridge/Freezer and Microwave. However, you will also find things like food mixer, electric steamer, coffee machine, if you like to cook away from home with all the conveniences at your fingertips. The Master bedroom has a top quality sprung divan, and the second bedroom has twin beds. . The bathroom is compact and has a bath with shower over, bidet and toilet. A hairdryer is provided. We can arrange transfer from the airport if needed.This is a perfect apartment for the guests who like a beachside apartment and enjoy people watching from the balcony overlooking the ocean.

Notes to the rental rates

• Change over day Saturday.
  
• Weekly rental charges as based on self-catering accommodation. Maid service is once a week. Bed linen and towels are provided.
  I'm sorry we are fully booked for 2008. We have been very lucky and have met some charming and respectful guests which is always very nice. we are taking bookings for 2009, and you will see by our rental rates we have some new rates.
  Anybody booking for one or two months has a discount to make the price 250 pounds per week, two months up to six months 200 pounds per week. This offer applies until 30th June 2009
  
• 30% deposit with booking. Final payment 8 weeks prior to arrival date. 100 pounds security deposit refundable at end of holiday if no breakages have occurred.

Obriens Glasgow This is the 2nd wonderful summer holiday we have had in the apartment. Thanks Joe and Diana it really is home from home. The Dunipaces East Kilbride Apartment great with all the comforts thank you for your assistance. We have enjoyed watching the world go by from the balcony and the girls have enjoyed their late nights whilst we relaxed Jenni and Kathy, Devon and Yorkshire We have enjoyed our 'girlie' week with lots of exploring and are sad to go home. Out and About in Armacao

Armacao is a working village and therefore does not close in winter. We have many shops and restaurants with very keen prices.I n the winter months it is possible to have a three course meal, bottle of wine and coffee for 10 euros. In the summer the many beach cafe's are open offering mouth watering meals for a hungry family. Again, choose your restaurant well and you can eat for 10 euros a head. Visit Fisherman's beach in the old part of town, and see the fishermen going about their daily tasks or buy vegetables at the Saturday market where you will mingle with the locals. Walk the cliff tops and take in the fresh air, or do the many water sports that are on offer at the beach. You will never be bored when you visit Armacao de Pera. Armacao dates back to Roman times, and during the mid 19th century a fort was built here to protect its inhabitants. Part of that fort still remains, it is now a police station. The warren of little streets and alleys around it date back to that time.

Things to do

If you do not want to rent a car, but would like to see more of the Algarve here are a few things that are on offer. You can book these trips from the tourist shop just steps away from the apartment. Quarteira Market. This is a chance to visit a bustling Market, and also visit Vilamoura Marina, half day 15 euro's. Historical Algarve. Visit the mountains and the sea , see some remains of Moorish and Roman existence. Visit Silves castle and cathedral. Stop for lunch in Lagos, then visit the indoor slave market (the first in Europe) Day trip 24 euros Eastern Algarve A visit to Faro the capital of the Algarve province with it's 13th century city centre then on to Olhao a key town for fishing and it's important fish market Visit the attractive old town of Tavira with a 4th century Roman bridge and many churches. Full day 24 euros. Also day trip to Lisbon 32 euros. Potuguese evening Portuguese festivities in an old farmhouse, with dancing. Food, wine, show and music all included 39 euros.
