New in late 2006 this beautiful 2 bed, 2 bath, fully air conditioned 2nd floor apartment comes complete with a spacious balcony with great views over the pool & open countryside, L-shaped living/dining room & high spec kitchen. Master bedroom is furnished with a queen sized double bed, bed side cabinets, built in wardrobe with access to an en suite complete with toilet, bidet, bath, shower and vanity unit. The 2nd double bedroom is furnished with twin beds, bed side cabinets & double wardrobe. The main bathroom includes toilet, bidet, shower & vanity unit. The large living/dining room is furnished with double sofa bed, coffee table, sideboard, 6-seater dining table & chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, washer/dryer, microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster, pots, pans, cutlery & dishware. Monte da Balaia is a newly built exclusive development of 75 apartments situated in the prime location between the town of Albufeira and the beautiful fishing village of Olhos de Agua, both within a short strolling distance. There are several reasonably priced restaurants, bars, supermarkets and a fruit and fish market close by. The area includes three of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve, with the nearest being Praia de Maria Luisa, just a ten minute walk away. The village of Olhos de Agua boasts excellent seafood restaurants, including two, romantically nestling over the beach and ocean. For golfing enthusiasts, the Balaia Golf resort is located next door and for the more discerning golfer the whole range of Vilamoura golf courses are available within a few minutes drive. Entertainment and nightlife, including nightclubs, bars, restaurants and casino, can be found in Albufeira and Vilamoura, both just a few minutes away by car or taxi.

General Information: The spacious balcony overlooks two pools set within beautiful landscaped gardens. Access to the gardens and pools is via the lift or 2 flight of stairs. The terraces around the pools are ideal for sunbathing or relaxing in the shade under a parasol. Underneath the apartment block there is access to secure underground car parking for one vehicle. A short distance away is the famous Waterpark and Zoomarine which is set in 8 hectares. Here you will find a whole host of activities including zoo and marine life shows, including a chance to interact with the dolphins. Take either a 20 minutes stroll or hop on a bus near the apartment and head towards Albufeira and this brings you into Praia Da Oura which is famous for 'The Strip'. a street with a huge variety of restaurants, shops, bars and nightclubs.

Beaches & Golf Information: This area of the Algarve is renowned for having some of the most cleanest and beautiful beaches in the Algarve all within a short distance from the apartment. The three closest blue flag beaches are Praia de Maria Luisa (15-20 min walk or 2 min drive), Santa Eulalia (20 min walk or 2 min drive) and Falesia (5 min drive). A stroll into Olhos D'Agua (15 to 20 minutes) brings you to a picturesque beach overlooked by restaurants. In addition there are many other local attractive beaches in the Albufeira such as Praia de Sao Rafeal and Praia de Castelo. The Balaia Golf resort is situated directly next door which gives access to the award winning executive nine hole golf course, driving range, chipping area and putting greens. The impressive club house overlooks the 1st tee and provides a restaurant, pro-shop, club and trolley hire. For the more discerning golfer there are approximately 28 golf courses within a 30 minute drive with more under development all the time.

Guest Feedback: 'We had a lovely time the apartment was well furnished, well stocked and clean. Superb balcony with lovely distant views. The complex is very well maintained, quet and beautiful landcaping and pool (your pictures do not do it justice). The apartment is in close proximity to almost every need with a whole host of friendly, clean and good value restaurants nearby. We were impressed will all the beaches particulary Faleisa, Maria Luisa and Santa Eulaila ('a little gem') (May 2007) 'It would be hard to find fault with the apartment as every amenity was there and it was spotlessly clean. The best thing i felt was the balcony and the vast amount of outstide space to enjoy, especially for breakfast in the sun' (May 2007) 'We had a fab time and have alraedy recommended the apartment to friends' (May 2007) 'The local beaches were beautiful , our favourite was St Eulalia' (April 2007)'

I have just stayed at this apartment for two weeks 05/09/09/-19/09/09
the apartment is excellent with a great balcony for relaxing on at any time of the day or night,
The apartment was very clean and modern, with good services with regards to bed linen and towels.
It is useful if you have a car to explore the local towns and beaches, which and all beautiful.
My favourite town was Lagos and my favourite beach was Para De Rocha. Every where we went for a meal was good try the 3 Marias round the corner for the apartment and the Clay Oven is a must in town don't forget the American diner. Fab Holiday had by the our whole party. Margaret & Alan
