The Algarve :
The most southerly part of Portugal is know has the Algarve and receives more sun than any other part of main land Europe, its miles of golden beaches are lapped by the sparkling clear waters of the Atlantic, The lively fishing town of Albufeira could not be better located its placed perfectly, right in the middle within easy reach of Faro (airport) the high mountains of Monchique, the historic castle town of Silves with its Moorish gardens or the market town of Loule and not forgetting the rugged coastal areas around Sagres the end of main land Europe.
Old town Albufeira :
The old town of Albufeira has a special charm all of its own which cannot be found any were else in the Algarve with its sleepy cobbled side streets and ally ways that criss cross the town, many of them end up in the new main square which at night comes alive with the throng of people, music, lights, sounds and smells of the many restaurants and bars, a walk down the Rue Candido dos Reis (the bar street) at night is a must.
During the day when its a little less busy it will lead down to the fisherman’s beach where you can enjoy a coffee and brandy or grilled sardines and much more or just sun bathe on the golden beach
Club Albufeira :
Our ground floor apartment enjoys a fine view over the main club swimming pool which has life guard on duty at times displayed by the pool, around the pool are sun loungers and sun shades for your use along with showers, on the far side of the pool is the 'O Pavillhao' restaurant which has an outside shaded patio eating area and inside a pleasant al a carte restaurant which caters for all tastes from local foods to international dishes. enjoy breakfast or lunch on the patio or even dinner from their extensive menu The adjoining bar serves cocktails, soft drinks, coffee and beer, snacks are available till five, During the summer months there is a mid week barbeque complete with entertainment, the complex also offers a pool table, tennis, crazy golf.The reception of club Albufeira has a list of local attractions and excursions as well as an internet access, ATM m/c and small library. away from the club are The Zoomarine, and Slide & Splash water park which are within easy reach
