South facing T2 (sleeps 6) apartment is situated on the beautiful Complex of ‘’Clube Albufeira’’ close to the Old Town of Albufeira and Fisherman’s Beach ideal for your summer holiday rental. The apartment has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard and includes 2 twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, 2 Bathrooms (one en-suite), with a small private balcony to the master bedroom. A fully fitted an equipped kitchen with Electric cooker, Washer/dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster plus all kitchen utensils and linen. Large spacious lounge/diner with traditional Portuguese wood burner, dining table that seats 6 people, Satellite TV and a Sofa Bed. Patio doors lead straight out from the lounge onto a large south-facing balcony with patio furniture and pleasant views over the surrounding countryside. The 24hour reception desk can arrange day trips to all local attractions including Water Parks, Zoo Marine and Boat Trips. Only 5 mins away is the popular ‘Algarve Shopping Center with a number of designer shops, discount retail outlets, bowling, cinema and a host of international restaurants. Complex Facilities.: At the heart of the resort is `O Pavillhao` an excellent poolside restaurant and bar serving everything from snacks and ice cream to international cuisine and traditional English Sunday Roast. Pool table and football table. Weekly BBQ, live entertainment in the high season. The resorts other large pool area with two Jacuzzis also has a snack bar. Reception can arrange taxis and day trips to local attractions such as Slide and Splash, Zoo marine, boat trips, golf tee times, etc. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Albufeira´s Camping facilities opposite the resort (access via footbridge) are available to Clube Albufeira guests at no extra charge and include supermarket, restaurant, disco, large pool area, children’s sandy play area, craft shop, newspaper kiosk, tennis and football courts. Long term rentals and daily rates available on request. Change over days is flexible and availability is all year. The reception also has internet access and the whole site has CCTV.

Transport.: Discounted Car Hire can be arranged for your entire stay or for specified days from either Faro Airport or delivered to Clube Albuferia.. For those who do not wish to drive airport transfer fees are €80 euros return up to 4 people €100 return 5 People + . Taxi fares to anywhere in Albufeira Town average only €5 Euros. While the apartment was clean and the kitchen well-stocked with utensils and cooking items, the "air conditioned" description was inaccurate. The air conditioning is only in the living room/dining room.The bedrooms had only a floor fan and the windows were not screened to keep out the mosquitos. The remote control for the TV didn't work and the TV (only in the living room) was very small. No DVD player and the only clock or radio in the entire apartment was in the living room. The washer/dryer did not work properly (the dryer didn't work at all), and the drying rack provided on the balcony was rusty, leaving stains on our clothes. Could not run both the washer and the air-conditioner without overloading the electrical breaker. One very tired, thin towel was provided for each person, very inexpensive & thin bed linens, extra pillows but not enough extra pillow slips, no soap or toiletries of any kind, and only one roll of toilet paper for the entire stay. Fine for a basic apartment, but not "luxury" apartment by any stretch. Servicable, value for the money, but didn't live up to the advertised listing. However, the owner and caretaker were very friendly and helpful and the resort is quite nice, with three restaurants and two pools onsite. Economical for families, but not for people used to any extras.
Recommended for:  Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: The apartment is a 'Self Catering' which means it does not come stocked with Toiletries like a Hotel does. The description states it has Air Conditioning which it does. If you had told the management people about the Tv remote and drying rack we would happily of gone and got new ones, instead of now writing a poor review for us. As for the linen this is brought from Hotel suppliers and is of very good quality as its used for the purpose of rental properties. Again if you wanted more bedding you only had to ask and we would happily of provided it. No DVD was even mentioned in the description. I have checked the washing Machine/Dryer and it works fine. The complex actually has 4 swimming pools. Maybe you should stay in Hotels and not apartments where you will get all the extras that you require.

Well postioned on the complex. Clean and tidy apartment with everything you need for a great holiday. South facing balcony was an added bonus. Close to 3 of the swiming pools inclding the heated one!!! We will be back!!
Recommended for:  Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Tourists without a Car, Age 55+, Sightseeing
