  • No car hire required as beaches, shops, local bars and restaurants are easily reached by foot. However, car hire is always handy to have in case you decide to try the Zoomarine park or water parks that the Algarve has to offer. Please enquire within.
  • Only 25% deposit of the rental cost is required to secure a booking at the Debimar apartments, with full balance not required until 8 weeks before you travel. We accept debit and switch cards (£1.95 charge), as well as credit and Master cards (subject to 3% handling fee). Final payment can be made by Bank Transfer.

Restaurants and Bars: The Algarve is known for its Piri Piri chicken, fish markets and glorious sunshine! A wide selection of bars and restaurants can be found in Albufeira, but the complex is within easy reach of local amenities too. Local supermarkets offer lovely food and drinks - all that is required to fill up your fridge for your stay!

Weather and Temperature: The Algarve is known for its glorious sunshine and mild temperatures throughout the summer, with July and August being the hottest months of the year. Ideal golfing weather and sunbathing weather, so remember to bring your suncream!

Inside Information: Some of the best beaches in Gale are not always signposted and come recommended only by the locals! Great days out include Zoomarina, Algarve Shopping and a night out in Albufeira Old Town - whether the famous square or buzzing bar street.

Golf: Albufeira and Vilamoura play host to some of the best golf courses in Europe. Warm weather and lush fairways make it very popular for beginners and pros! Nearest golf course is Salgados, although Balaia is approx. 20 minute drive. The delights of Vilamoura will take no more than 30 minutes to drive to.

A Lovely stay at the Debimar Apartments

We spent a lovely week at the Debimar Apartments in late October. The Apartment was very well equipped and although a little dated, everything was in full working order and very clean. Opposite is a supermarket that seems to cater for tourists who want some familiar home comforts! The beach at Gale was really nice, lots of caves and rock pools that our toddler loved. The area is very quiet which was exactly what we wanted, we hired a car and drove into Albufeira for a few meals in the evening and this enabled us to go exploring more easilly although the local beach was the best! The apartment was excellent value for money and I would recommend it to friends.

Stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks end August 2008. Apartment very comfortable with excellent facilities and extremely clean and well cared for - the balcony with sea view was huge and had all day sun. The only English speaking channel on TV was CNN. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. Restuarants/pubs few and far between but new supermarket across the road and beach within 2 minute walk. In a very quiet residential area with limited bus service, taxis hard to come by so car would be advisable.

Enjoyed stay in this apartment. Nice and clean, pool and surroundings well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful for bus timetables etc. 3/4 restaurants nearby and also evening entertainment ( of various quality) in nearby Villa Gale hotel. Good supermarket straight across road. Nice balcony with sea views facing sun from midday onwards. Apartment had everything required for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Beaches few mins walk. Don't rely on bus services to Albufeira however. The bus service sucks and they don't necessarily run to schedule. All in all a very nice clean apartment in a very good location.
