This is a luxurious & superbly equipped 2 bedroom apartment in the Montechoro area of Albufeira that will be ready for occupation from the 1st May 2006. The apartment has a fully fitted kitchen, stylish living room with 42' sound surround TV & audio system, built in wardrobes in both the ensuite & large 2nd bedroom and has the option of air conditioning. The small & exclusive complex is private & secure with its own swimming pool. The location is perfect as it is in easy walking distance of the Strip and the beach at Praia de Oura is approximately 1 kilometre away. The other great advantage of this area is that car hire is not essential as all amenities are close by. Golfers will be happy with the amount of super golf courses within a 15 minute drive and there are taxi ranks close by. There are some superb restaurants within walking distance of the apartment and it is about 30 minutes from Faro airport.

Nearest Beach: beach at 1.0 Kilometres

This is a great location for either exploring Albufeira if you do not wish to hire a car or for exploring the superb Algarve area if you wish to venture further. It would suite both golfers & none golfers alike. The bustle of the Strip is a short stroll away so you have easy access to all the attractions there but you are located in a peaceful area so you are 'far enough away' to suffer from any disturbance of the noise & hustle & bustle. There are many superb restaurants within easy reach on foot. There are several Taxi ranks and of course there are supermarkets close by for your holiday shopping requirements. The nearest beach is the wonderful Priae de Oura beach where there are several restaurants and snack bars along with a picturesque sandy beach. Many trips to the different attractions on the Algarve can be arranged so this really is the ideal location for your holiday as you have every facility you are likely to need close by

We stayed in this apartment in July/August 2008. The apartment was exactly as described, if anything it was actually better than the pictures indicate. Everything in the apartment was just like new and there was everything we needed. Has a good sized balcony with table and chairs. The apartment is on the same level as the swimming pool. There was plenty of terrace space around the pool, which was cleaned daily. The snack bar on site is good, the food is great, they sell Magners and they are are very friendly- perfect. Although it was a bit out of the centre we found the location ideal as it was easy to walk to either end of "The Main Strip", where all the bars and restaurants are located (about 10 minute walk) If you like the beach it is about a 20 to 30 minute walk. However, we would recommend getting a taxi to Gale beach, about 11 euros, but well worth it as it has miles of sandy beaches. Would have no hesitation in recommending. Chris.
