Edificio Vale-Mangude is a complex of 32 one bedroom apartments in an excellent location in a quiet residential area yet only a few minutes walk from the main 'strip' and the lovely Oura beach. There is a supermarket, taxi rank and a selection of bars and restaurants all within a few hundred metres. This newly appointed ground floor apartment offers top class accommodation comprising: one twin bedroom, bathroom, fully fitted kitchen, large living/dining area,large sun terrace and a 50foot by 15foot garden with built in barbeque. There is a large pool and grassed sunbathing area set in well maintained secured gardens.

Our apartment is situated approximately 5 minutes walk from 'The Strip' where you will find a wide selection of bars and restaraunts suitable for families and couples of all ages. The 'Old Town' of Albufeira is a 20 min. walk away or alternatively you can catch the 'Road Train' which runs between The Strip and The Old Town untill the early hours of the morning, an all day ticket costs 3 euros (£2). The lovely Oura beach is only a 10 minute walk whilst the nearest golf course is 2 km away at the Balaia golf village.

We have just returned from a great holiday here,as recommend by my son. It was terrific, spotlessly clean, well equiped,peaceful and so comfortable.It was quite and restful yet all "the action" was on the doorstep.WE will return again and again.

favourite holiday

The Strip Livepool

have stayed at this apartment several times and would highly recommend it. Its location is ideal for everything, day trips etc, a 5 minute walk to the famous strip 10 minute walk to the beach a little longer on way back (all uphill) a lovely 20 to 25 minute stroll to the old town, all with lots to see and do. It feels like home from home with having your own private garden with barbecue. Ideal for all ages with being situated on the ground floor. The only problem we had was the maids never came but this was put right with one simple phone call, also the sofa bed was not very comfortable although we did not sleep on it this year because the children were not with us. I have recommended the apartment to my friends and family all of which have stayed there and had a fab holiday. My daughter and sister have already booked for this year. Look forward to my next stay

We have enjoyed numerous fantastic family holidays at this property. The description regarding location, layout and facilities is accurate. This property has the additional benefit of a safe garden for children to play in. Equally relaxing holiday for adults with small pool within complex. Customer service excellent. Definitely would recoomend to family and friends. Don't miss out on a visit to Aquamarine but please pre-book the excellent dolphin experience. Numerous restaurants within close proximity to property.

excellent apartment in a great location

I took my granchildren on holiday for a week and was recommended this apartment through some friends who had stayed there last year. I would like to say it was a tastfully decorated apartment and catered for our every needs. The bars and restaurants were within walking distance. We had a fabulous holiday and will definately be booking up again.

This could be a nice apartment,but the property was not up to scatch,the bedroom was in need of new mattresses,and the bed clothing was in need of being laundered.We had to sleep on the sofa bed.We only had one bath towel, one hand towel and one tea towel for the week.They said they had satellite T.V but there was only one station (ITV).Might be that the owners are needing to change the management company.
