This new apt. is situated on first floor in the prestigious Quinta Pedra dos Bicos 4 star complex, with card access to private condominium pool, childrens pool and garden area with swing and poolside drinks and snack bar. Main beach Praia de Oura is 5 minutes walk approx. with other beaches in close proximity. Apt. is very close to supermarkets, local shops, restaurants and bars. The apartments are modern in design....stylish kitchen with granite counter tops, floors have porcelain tiles throughout. The complex has excellent security with access control at all entrances to the apartments.

Albufeira is in the Algarve, about a half hours drive from Faro Airport. The Algarve is located in the south of Portugal and has hundreds of sun-soaked beaches and beautiful, unspoilt scenery. Local people are very welcoming and friendly. The Algarve has a temperate climate almost all year round, and boasts over 300 days of sunshine per year. The apartment is situated in a quiet and peaceful complex, in the Santa Eulalia area of Albufeira. It is within Albufeiran easy walking distance of all amenities, including the famed 'Strip' which is approx. 15 mins walking distance.

  • Rates include cleaning service / linen change once a week with midweek towel change. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN POOL& BEACH TOWELS. Normally Sat/Sun arrival but we aim to be flexible if possible ,including rental on nightly basis off-peak months. Enquiries for long term winter rental welcome, 30% deposit non-refundable on booking, balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival, E200 (£140 ) security deposit payable with balance (E100 of this is to cover damage or loss of card for access to private pool), this will be returned provided no loss or damage to the apartment or contents has occurred during your stay and on return of keys. Payment in Euro or Sterling equivalent.

Notes: Balcony contains table & 4 chairs. There is a small childrens playground in a spacious green area around the pool containing a swing, rocking horse & slide. Approx 100mtrs from the apartment is the 4 star Oura Praia Hotel which has family entertainment every night & non-residents are very welcome. Several local bars with Sky satellite channels including sport, nightly karaoke in various bars. Erins Isle Irish complex with Irish TV channels 15mins walk away. If you want to go shopping in the magnificent Algarve Shopping Centre, a courtesy coach runs on selected days from outside the Oura Praia Hotel. The famed 'Strip'. 15 mins away is a mile-long avenue of shops, bars, clubs, restaurants, & amusements to cater for all age-groups. The old town of Albufeira is 3 min taxi ride away has a pleasant square with seating, open air music/entertainment surrounded by good restaurants, well worth a visit!! Traditional bullring nearby also. The Algarve has something special to offer everyone.

Golf details: Centrally located for access to 16 top quality golf courses within half-hour drive from the apartment. Villamoura golf resort 10mins. drive away with Quinta de Lago, San Lorenzo and Vale de Lobo a further 10 minutes away. Championship golf courses at Penina and Pinta are 30 minutes drive in the opposite direction.

Exploring the Algarve.: Jeep safaris are extremely popular with families who want to spend the day exploring the Portuguese countryside. Children will be delighted with the travel over the country terrain and mums and dads will be very happy with the food and wine served up at midday at some quiet rural restaurant followed by refreshing swim!!. If you wish to venture further afield ,a visit to Seville in Spain is only a two and half hour drive from resort..coach trips also available. Seville is a beautiful old city full of wonderful architecture--churches, palaces, old statues, but don't forget if you want to go shopping SIESTA in Spain is from 1-5pm!!!. If you like leather bags or great shoes ,a visit to Lisbon is also worthwhile.T he old historic town of Silves is also well worth a visit, as is Lagos for great shopping!!

Activities in the Albufeira.: Most families are happy to spend the morning lounging around the resort pools and then wander down to the beach in the late afternoon. There are plenty of water activities, including a visit to any of the water-parks...eg. Aqualand or view the dolphins at Zoo-marine waterpark...a childrens paradise!!.The old town of Albufeira is 3 mins. taxi ride away and is not to be missed..It is an old fishing village with some wonderful fish restaurants, a charming place to visit at night-time especially as you can see the night-lights from all the passing boats.The centre of Albufeira consists of a rejuvenated Square where open-air musical events take place day and night, with seating available for the passer-by, surrounded by some of the best restaurants in the Algarve.Courtesy buses run regularly to the Algarve Shopping Centre from beside the apartments. Regular bus service from beside the apartments following a designated RED-LINE or BLUE-LINE route around the area.

My family and I stayed in this apartment in Sept 2007 and to say we were delighted with it would be an understatement.

The new(ish) apartment, is clean, bright and modern with up todate equipment (and then some! ). A total home from home.

The apartment is situated right opposite the Oura Praia hotel,
(and the wonderful EDDY'S BAR) ideally placed for all the amenities, restaurants and bars of the lovely Santa Eulalia area, and yet it's only a 10-15 minute walk from the famous "Strip" where again, there are ample bars, restaurants and shops.

And that's before you venture to the beautiful Old Town!

There is a bus stop just opposite the apartments, but to be honest, taxi's are really cheap, and come past so regularly, we just used them.

Although the apartment is so handy for everything, we had no noise from outside whatsoever - total peace and quiet. Heaven!

The nicely furnished balcony, which looks out to the back of the building (so again, no street noise) got the sun most of the day.

And the swimming pool! Oh well...just beautiful!
Totally private with plenty of sunbeds, and a pool side cafe run by very pleasant people who do tasty snacks at reasonable prices.

There is also a small playground area for little ones, and a beautifully kept lawned area which was popular with children and adults alike.

And of course, from the pool area you can walk down to the picturesque Oura Beach.

I can't recommend this apartement enough - just lovely!
And I am delighted to say we will be returning this year!

(Directly below the apartment. Come out of the building, turn left, down the steps and there you are! They also do a *All you can eat Buffet* for 8.95 - fabulous! )

There are just far too many Portugeuse restaurants to recommend, we didn't have a bad meal in one. Try to vary your choice of restaurants each night and enjoy a true culinary experience!

Every evening, we finished off the night at EDDY'S BAR, which is owned by the lovely Pele. The bar is only small, but the atmosphere is just brilliant.

And because the bar is frequented by holiday makers and locals alike, you can get to know some excellent characters!

ENJOY! We certainly do!

Second visit to this wonderful apartment - FAB!!!!

This was our second visit to this fabulous apartment, and just as last year, we were delighted!

Everything is still top notch - a real home from home!


Two additions round the pool area this September...

1. A small, covered bouncy castle for little ones, placed on the lawn a shaded area - what a great idea!

2. A volleyball / batminton net also set up on another part of the lawn - another great idea!
(Racquets etc available from the snack bar.)

The pool area is still beautiful and immaculately kept, the staff are still so friendly and helpful.
Service is always with a smile.

Everything was spot on!

We really wish this apartment was ours, or that we could afford to frequent it much more often.

It's modern, totally clean, excellently maintained, with a lovely lady coming in a few times a week with clean towels, bed linen etc.

The wonderfully friendly owners are a treat to deal with.

My family and I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough!
