Parque da Corcovada is a development of luxurious apartments and villas in the heart of Albufeira, with all possible facilities and amenities on its doorstep. The apartments, new in 2008, have large balconies and superior quality furnishings, located within gated condominiums and enjoy the benefits of communal swimming pools and landscaped gardens. They feature fully equipped Danish kitchens complete with Siemens appliances. Bedrooms and living areas enjoy quality Brazilian wooden floors. All patio doors and windows have electrically operated thermo-lacquered aluminium shutters. Cool basement parking is also available. This holiday development is fantastically located close to fine sandy beaches, golf courses and other sporting amenities. A short journey to local attractions such as Zoo marine, Aqualand & Slide and splash. Within the resort there are four swimming pool areas each with a separate children’s pool, the main central pool having a snack bar facility throughout daytime hours

This luxury new 1 / 2 Bedroom apartment is spacious and comfortable, furnished to a very high standard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. 3 seperate balconies with sea views overlook the pool area. The living/dining area seperates to create a second bedroom or should a couple be using the apartment adapts to create a spacious living area. There is a sofa and chair giving seating for 4, and dining for 6 should friends visit. There is cable TV, DVD’s or a CD player for your entertainment. The separate kitchen area is fully equipped with all amenities. The bathroom in the apartment has a shower over the bath. The bedroom has a large fitted wardrobe with a King size bed; the second bedroom has two single beds. There is lift access to the apartment and designated underground parking. Families are well catered for with a cot and highchair available, a wide selection of children’s DVD’s and pool toys provided. This apartment is ideal for a couple or young family.

Albufeira, Portugal's most popular resort, has been described as the “Tourist Capital” of the Algarve, spreading from the old town both east and west along the coast, its sandy coves and golden beaches drawing an assorted crowd, from families with young kids to retired couples. Everyone finds something to enjoy in this sprawling, low-rise holiday Mecca, which retains its old world charm in narrow alleyways behind the new hip and happening, Rue Candido dos Reis (the bar street) which at night is a must. The “Strip”, as it is referred to locally, in the east of the town, runs from the Montechoro Hotel down to the Praia da Oura, lined with dozens of cafes, restaurants and bars. In contrast, the old town of Albufeira has a special charm all of its own, with its sleepy cobbled side streets and alleyways that criss cross the town, many of them converging in the main square which at night comes alive with the throng of people, music, lights, sounds and aromas of the many restaurants and bars.

The roof terrace is accessed via the central stairwell. Block 36 and 37 share a pool area consisting of a large pool and a separate children’s pool.

We stayed in the 2nd floor property.

Description and photo's of the property are as advertised however we were greeted by a property that was more spacious than we anticipated. It was clean and well presented. All equipment was in full working order. Beautiful pool, very quiet and a real sun trap. We visited 3rd week in October and 3 days registered over 80F and were completely cloudless. In terms of location its a 10 minute walk to the strip and a further 25 to the old town although buses and the tourist train/bus are handy and frequent.

Excellent service from the owner who provides all the information about the property / location / resort including recommendations for restaurants / bars.

The transfer company used by the owner was excellent. Keys for the property were held by them. The fact that the owner lays on the transfer at no extra cost takes away all the hassle and added expense.

For any friend visiting Albufeira I'd definitely recommend this property.

We used the recommendations provided for restaurants and found them to be useful.

Just returned from a fantastic holiday in July 08. Accommodation was outstanding and the most comfortable apartment we have stayed in. It was pristine, modern, everything you could possibly need with all the comforts of home. Exceptionally well maintained and the very secure. It was perfect for our two boys (11 & 14yrs) as they are not too keen on the sun, so we sunbathed and they watched tv - when they played in the pool we cooled off on the balcony with a couple of beers....bliss!!! The accommodation is in a perfect location, just far enough away from the 'Strip' and with enough small bars and restaurants to keep you going. We would highly recommend the 'Old Town' for people watching and lots of buzz!! Don't miss 'The Island' a small bar at the top of the hill,(just at the bus stop) the food was home made - not too fancy - but good grub!! The customer service offered by Paul (the owner) was second to none and he made sure we had all the info we needed to make our stay as enjoyable as we could make it. He also arranged our airport transfers and the guy who picked us up (on both occasions) was very friendly and his english was great. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone going to Portugal and will most certainly go back.
