Secluded and peaceful apartment block built on 2 floors, consisting of 15 apartments only. The majority of the apartments are used solely for their owners use and are not rented out. The block was only completed in 2004, and built to a very high standard. The development is completely enclosed by brick walls or fencing, so it is completely safe for your family. Entry into the apartment block is via electronic gates, or an entry phone system, This apartment is based on the ground floor, and has a balcony / terrace that overlooks the beautifully kept gardens. The communal pool is also situated within the garden area, laid to lawn. One of the most appealing attractions with this apartment is its location. It is only 500 metres walk from the picturesque Castelo Beach, and 5 mins drive by car to the ' Old Town of Albufeira ' with its choice of great restaurants and bars.10 mins drive from Algarve Shopping, with its factory outlets. PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN UNDER 10 YEARS OLD.

Sesmarias, is situated on the Coast road Between Albufeira ' Old Town ' and Gale. The apartment is 500m from Castelo Beach. And 800m from Elvaristo Beach. There are a number of local Restaurants / Bars within 5 -10 mins walking distance from the Apartment. The bus stop is situated 8 mins walk from the apartment ( this service goes to Albufeira ) There is also 2 mini market type stores within 5 - 10 mins walk.

  • Change over days are flexible, we have found Mondays generally to accommodate the cheapest flights.30% deposit is required with confirmation of booking. With the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to the holiday. £100 deposit cheque will be required in the event of any damages, this will be returned within 14 days after the holiday, and the agent has confirmed there were no breakages, or damage. Air Conditioning is available ( Both Bedrooms & Lounge / Diner ) at additional cost of £50 per week. We can also arrange transfers from the Airport, if you do not wish to hire a car. Special rates available for car rental. Welcome packs available on request. Similar apartments available in same condominium, if you wish to go on holiday with another family, but want your own space ( please contact owner for more details )

Notes: We have a local Portugese Agent ( English speaking ) who looks after this property. And is available should you have any problems while you are staying at the apartment. Air Conditioning is available within the apartment (AT AN ADDITIONAL COST ) There is a DVD player in the Apartment with a selection of English films.And recently installed is ' BBC Free To Air Digital TV ' English TV only. Also recently installed on the Terrace for extra comfort on those hot sunny days are ' Sun Awnings ' to give you shade and the chance to get away from the heat. The balcony / terrace is above the ground level, with an approx drop of 8 feet. There is a guard rail fitted, Please bring your own beach towels. PLEASE NOTE CHILDREN ARE WELCOME BUT WE DO HAVE A MINIMUM AGE LIMIT OF 10 YEARS OLD.

Local Attractions: For the keen Golfers, the apartment is 5 mins drive from Salgados Golf Club, I am told it is very similar to playing in Florida ( plenty of water ) Within 30 mins drive are also the more famous courses of Vilamoura, Vale de Lobo and Quinta Da Lago. For the children there is Zoo Marine where you can swim with the Dolphins, 5 - 10 mins drive away. Also the Algarve Zoo, various water parks, and Go Karting within 15 - 30 mins drive. For the young at heart we have ' The Strip ' with its Bars, Night Clubs, Sport Bars, Casinos and anything else you may wish to imagine. ( 10 mins drive ) And for the ladies we have ' Algarve Shopping ' with Factory Outlets and Designer Stores, you can shop till you drop. Also situated here is Multi Cinema complex, and bowling, as well as the traditional ' Macdonalds, Pizza Hut, KFC, etc. ( 8mins drive ) The local speciality of ' Piri Piri ' chicken can be tried in Guia ( 8 mins drive )

Water Sport Facilities: The apartment is 5 mins drive from the ' New Marina ' in Albufeira, and within the area you can. Dive, Water Ski, hire Jet Skis, Para Glide, Windsurf and Bodysurf. You can book fishing trips, or fish from the rocks ( which is what the locals seem to do well ). If you do not like the idea of a secluded beach ( Castelo ) 5 mins in the car will get you to Gale Beach, which seems to run for miles, touching the wetlands and nature reserves of the Algarve.

We found this to be an excellent property - well furnished and with many good features, (washing machine, dishwasher, dvd player, tv etc.,) . It was very clean and well-maintained. Extra towels were provided half-way through our stay. there were also sunloungers and table and chairs provided on the spacious balcony.
The gardens and pool were also kept in very good order, although some neighbours were a little noisy, coming in very late ( ie 4 am ! ) and not being very thoughtful about disturbing their neighbours !
On the whole though, this was only a minor problem, and we wouldn't hesitate to book the apartment again, having had such a wonderful stay.

Relaxing Portugal Holiday

We all loved this apartment. Our two boys loved the pool, which they often had to themselves and the satellite TV was a bonus (english channels). The beach is within walking distance, although we had a car so we could go further afield. We would definitely go back.
