The location of the apartment offers a wide range of attractions to suit all ages. Magnificent beaches are within 10 minutes drive of the apartment. Golfers will be pleased as the algarve offers many courses. Aqua parks and a zoo marine are all easily accessable, and excursions are available from the local tourist office.
Surrounding area.: The apartment is situated 3 miles from the ancient picturesque town of Tavira, which is 30 minutes drive from faro airport in the west, or 30 minutes drive from spain in the east. Tavira is renowned for its historcal past, there are many old churches,a castle, and a roman bridge. The bridge is now pedestrianised, since the flood damage in 1989.
The town is an active fishing port, with a very busy fish market also selling an extensive range of fruit and vegetables. There are many excellent restaurants, providing an incredible selection of menus to suit all pockets.
