Benamor, Quinta da Cima & Quinta da Ria golf courses are all within 10 mins drive & the historic town centre of Tavira is only 5 mins away, or a 25-30 minutes easy walk if you are feeling energetic. Cafes & restaurants abound in the town although a fine restaurant, cafe and general store can be found without leaving the street.

Notes to the rental rates

• NEW REDUCED PRICES - NO REDUCTION IN STANDARDS! All rates are for the whole apartment accommodating 1 - 6 persons . Air conditioning, heating, electricity and gas are included in the rental price. Street parking is free.Rentals overlapping 2 or more periods will be calculated pro rata.Rental Charges are fixed in Euros. Payment is accepted in Euros or Pounds Sterling at the prevailing exchange rate in Portugal at the date of confirmation. Other currencies by arrangement.
  
• A booking deposit of 30% is required before a booking is confirmed. This is non-refundable. Balance of payment is required 8 weeks before the first day of occupancy.
  A breakage deposit of 100 euros will be collected on arrival or may be paid with the balance. The deposit will be refunded on departure subject to deductions for damages beyond normal wear and tear.
  
• Airport transfers to and from Faro Airport are available for up to 4 passengers for a small supplement. Additional taxi transfers can also be arranged by the letting agents. Transfers to and from Seville Airport are also available at a supplement.
  Winter stays of 4 weeks or more are subject to a discount of 50 Euros per week.

Welcome to Tavira

A welcome pack of basic necessities will be provided for all arriving guests. You will find the apartment clean on your arrival and linen, towels etc. will be changed weekly. The agents, Becky & Derick, live above the apartment and are regularly available to answer any questions about the local area or to resolve problems, as required.

Where are we?

.Mato Santo Espirito is an urbanização on the north-east side of Tavira, immediately north of the N125 trunk road. The historic town centre is easily accessible by car or on foot, particularly noted for its Roman Bridge over the River Gilão and is the “cidade das igrejinhas” - town of little churches. Blue flag beaches are found on the 'Ilha da Tavira'.

Getting around

While a car is recommended, it is not essential for the enjoyment of a holiday here. Buses and trains are available and are usually reliable and punctual. Bicycles can be hired locally on a daily or weekly basis and many opportunities exist for walks in the vicinity, particularly in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, noted for its migratory and rare bird species.
