All other activities, including the Water Park ,horse-back riding, paragliding, sailing and cycling are within 5 minutes drive. Quinta Do Lago and Vale Do Lobo are all in easy reach and Vilamoura Marina with it's range of fantastic restaurants and night life will take you 5 minutes in the car. For those looking to stay in a property oozing quality and who would like to be next door to the buzz of Vilamoura and the beach this is a must. Palmyra is part of the 5 Star Vila Sol Golf Resort and Spa, situated in the 'Golden Triangle' of Quinta Do Lago, Vale Do Lobo and Vilamoura, 20 minutes from Faro Airport. The town of Quarteira, with its beach, bars and restaurants and famous fish market, is only 5 minutes away. Vilamoura which also has a lovely beach and a Marina and Casino is also only a 5 minute drive .There is a good supermarket within 2 minutes drive and a number of other supermarkets and a bank within a few miles. The Algarve shopping centre in Faro has a large hypermarket and numerous fashion outlets. The old towns of Faro and Loule are easily reached and offer a fantastic selection of clothes shops, with shoes featuring particularly strongly. If you like markets, Quarteira and Loule are the place to visit for wonderful fresh vegetables and fish. The area surounding Palmyra has a huge selection of Restaurants to suit all tastes and Vilamoura and Albuferia have a number of well known night clubs

PALMYRA: This is a sanctuary lying within Vila Sol. Here you can relax and enjoy the exclusive and luxurious lifestyle you deserve. The glorious gardens are fully stocked with exotic plants. At the heart of the garden is a large swimming pool, water fall and separate children's pool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available for guests. From mid June to mid September the pool is supervised by a qualified attendant. The ground floor apartment has its own terrace overlooking the gardens, where it is lovely to sit in the sun at the end of the day. Everything about the apartment and its surroundings is of the highest standard. This is the place you will be sorry to leave. Comments from clients who have rented the apartment say. VILAMOURA AND THE WEATHER: Vilamoura with its abundant restaurants, Marina and shopping opportunities is a jewel within the beautiful Algarve. Within easy reach of sandy beaches and a host of unspoilt habitats, including a famous costal nature reserve, the area is an environmentalists paradise. You will never be at a loss for something to do! The beautiful Algarve coast, with its endless sandy beaches, boasts amongst the best weather in Europe, with some 300 days of sun per year.

GOLF INFORMATION: The Algarve is home to some fabulous golf courses. The apartment is 2 minutes walk from the Vila Sol golf course. This superb course has twice hosted the Portuguese Open. The lovely club house overlooks the 18th green, where you can enjoy a drink and meal. Within 5 minutes drive are numerous other golf courses, all with excellent facilities. Probably some of the most famous golf courses in Portugal are 10 - 15 minutes east of the apartment. The San Lorenzo course is amongst these. This really is a golfers paradise.

We had a great time in the apartment and really couldn't fault the facilities. Our two-year-old son loved the Palmyra pool which was extremely child-friendly and the apartment itself had everything we could have wished for. We also rented a travel cot and highchair which were both very clean and of a really good quality. There are lots of lovely places to see and to eat nearby and the Vila Sol complex has some great restaurants and a fantastic pool area. I'd highly recommend the apartment and hope to return again in the future.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
