Apartment in Vilamoura, Algarve, Portugal: This is a new development built and furnished to a very high standard. It is situated in a very nice area in Vilamoura known as 'The Old Village'. The property is located beside Pinhal golf course and The Four Seasons, which is very popular with golfers and families alike. Within 'The Old Village' there are some very nice restaurants, snack/bars, supermarket and a very cosy local pub/bar with evening entertainment, most major sports on TV and internet access. It is very close to Europe’s largest Marina with an abundance of restaurants, bars and shops. There are five 18 hole golf courses nearby, two beautiful beaches, various other sports and water sports/parks enjoyed by all ages!! The property comprises of a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, twin bedroom, living room with dining area. There is also a lovely side balcony overlooking the private pool and a staircase leading to a roof garden with lovely views, complete with sun lounger’s.

Nearest Airport: Faro Airport at 20 Kilometres
Nearest Ferry: Falasia at 3 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Loule at 10 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: A22 at 8 Kilometres

It is approximately a 15 minute walk to the Marina with its beautiful yachts, restaurants and shops. You will also find the nearby blue flag Falesia beach. There are various water parks and the renowned Zoomarine where you can swim with the dolphins. There are five 18hole championship courses in Vilamoura. In 'The Old Village' there is a wonderful Michelin star restaurant known as 'Willies' which we would HIGHLY recommend for that special occasion. Eating out for ALL tastes (& pockets) are catered for. Likewise, Nightlife accommodates all tastes and ages. Locally there is a top rate fitness centre which can be used on a daily rate! And for anybody into the 'MARKET' scene there is a really good one in the nearby town of Quarteira on Wednesday mornings. A visit to the nearby town of Loule is a must, even if only to ramble the narrow cobbled shopping streets. And for the shoppers, there is ALGARVE SHOPPING, 15km and Portugal’s largest shopping centre, well worth a visit.

Golf: The area has 5 Golf courses within 10min of the Apt. All courses can be booked on the Internet or locally.

Special Interest: There are nature reserves in the area popular with bird watchers and at the Marina every water sport is catered for. Ideal for walkers as area completely flat. Bicycles can be hired locally. Good sea fishing from beach, jetty or boat. Excellent super clean beaches. Vilamoura has won all the top awards for Ecology and this is evident from the cleanliness of the whole area.

Beach: The blue flag Falesia beach is within 5 mins drive as is Quertiere beach.

A lovely part of the Algarve, the Old Village has all you need for a holiday within walking distance. The apartment was spotlessly clean with a high standard of furnishings and fittings. Internet booking and arrival instructions were all very straightforward. The caretaker / cleaner was very pleasant and helpful. The communal pool area is also well maintained and safe for kids. Local eateries were also very good. I'll be back!!

I stayed in this apartment for the second time in November 09 after being so impressed during my first stay a year earlier. I had my wife and 7 year old son with me and there was plenty of room. It is very clean, very quiet, very well equipped and very nicely situated....what more could you ask for?
The communication with the owner, John, was very good as were directions and instructions for keys, etc.

My husband and I have just returned from a week at the apartment in the old village prestige Vilamoura.
It was a really relaxing time and the apartment provided us with home from home comforts, a well kitted out kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, the bathroom was clean and functional but the best bit of all was the roof top terrace a great place to spend an evening as the sun died down across the roof tops and down in to the sea.
The village has a number of restaurants and bars as well as a local shop to get the basics.
A twenty minute walk and you are down at the marina where you can wish away your millions on a boat or two.
Would thoroughly recommend a visit.

My partner and I spent a week in this apartment at the end of August. The apartment was exactly as described on the website and all pictures were accurate. The contact with the owner was excellent. We would definately return and recommend this apartment to family and friends.

Lovely Property

Myself and my husband and teenage daughter have just returned after spending a week in this fab apartment.
We chose this apartment mainly due to the reviews already given.
The actual booking was very straight forward and the owner answered any questions very quickly, also giving clear instructions how to get there.
When we arrived we were not disappointed, the apartment was exactly how it appears on the web site. It was like home from home. Very clean and everything you need.
The location was ideal, even though it is a 25 minute walk to the beach, which was lovely, a taxi only costs 4 euros to get home anyway.
Plenty of places to eat both around the old village or around the Marina.
We would certainly return to this apartment if we visit the Algarve again. We shall never do a package holiday again thats for sure.
