Impressive stone built Manor House sensitively modernised and elegantly furnished in rustic style and well equipped. The property stands apart from others and is set in seven acres of south facing, gently wooded farmland. There is a large private pool in the old walled garden at the rear of the house amidst landscaped gardens. The double height Kitchen features the original inglenook fireplaces with a large wood burning stove and the main Living room is enhanced by an enormous stone fireplace. A beautiful, peaceful location just 2 mins from the local cafe/restaurant, beached and golf 20 mins and the airport 25 mins. Discover this place just once and you'll want to rebook for ever.

The Manoir is set well apart from others in a peaceful rural location in its own grounds of 7 acres with landscaped gardens and a large private pool (13m x 7m). There is stone built BBQ and several stone built seats and flower borders. There is a covered terrace from the Kitchen with table and chairs and terracing around the pool with sunbeds and patio furniture.

Beaches. There are several beaches approx. 20mins drive, including the beautiful Dunas Douradas (Golden Dunes) between Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago.

Golf. Several superb golf courses are within easy reach . The established courses at Vilamoura, Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago are about 20 mins. drive.

Travel. Faro Airport is 25 mins drive away.

Car hire is essential.

It is recommended that client's book this before departure.

Distances.

2 mins drive from Local cafe/restaurant at Sao Romao

5 mins drive to the market town of S. Bras de Alportel and

10 mins drive to the town of Loule with its market.

Golf: Numerous golf courses all within 20-30 mins drive, as with tremendous choice of beaches and local traditional country restaurants. Food ,away from the 'hot spots’ is staggeringly good value, and delicious

Manoir Sao Romao was lovingly restored over a two year period, by the owners, after a long search for just the right house in the most central yet rural position.

Its character has been enhanced by careful modernisation, and furnished with period fittings that reflect both comfort and style, befitting its graceful charm. Please come and tell me that my labours have not been in vain!!!.

Fully fitted double-height Kitchen with original inglenook fireplace with wood-burning stove, hob, cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezers x 2, dishwasher, washing machine, iron & board and all necessary cooking utensils, pans. etc.

Living Rooms:

Large Lounge with enormous stone fireplace complete with 1m wide dog grate. Heavily beamed ceilings and solid traditional furnishings with comfortable sofas.

Mezzanine:

Above Kitchen with sofa, TV/DVD player and music system.

Dining Room:

With carved Portuguese table and chairs.
