The Quintassential consists of 4 south-facing self catering apartment cottages. The Orange a large rustic 2 bed cottage with a double bed, twin beds & a huge private terrace. Sleeps 4 adults & an infant. The Casa do Forno Cottage a 1 bed rustic cottage with a double bed & houses the original bread oven dating back to the 19th century, sleeps 2 adults. The Lemon & Carob Cottages, both large 1 bed apartment cottages with double beds & the bedrooms are large enough to accommodate single beds too, sleeps 3 in each cottage. All the accommodations have been furnished & decorated to a very high standard. They have Satellite TV, DVD, VCR & radio/CD players. All accommodations have private south-facing terraces with garden furniture & brick BBQ's. There is a wonderful pool area - 10x5m heated pool with cushioned sunloungers, parasols & a hot tub. The is an acre of spectacular gardens where you are sure to find a quiet place to admire the gardens, the views & relax & a children's play area

The Orange Cottage is a large 2 bedroom rustic cottage with a fully fitted brand new kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric kettle & toaster. The Lounge/diner is tastefully decorated with cane and pine furniture, Sat TV DVD VCR radio/CD player, a selection of books, ceiling fan & an original 19th century fireplace that now houses the wood-burning stove. Double doors lead on to the very large private terrace with it's own table, cushioned chairs &Bar-B-Q area. The bathroom has a new luxury double walk-in shower, washbasin, WC bidet. The Orange Cottage bedrooms consist of one double bed & one twin bed. There is a security safe. The Orange Cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 adults & an infant. There is a communal pool area & the heated pool measures 10 x 5 m with cushioned sun loungers, pool towels, parasols etc. There is also a hot tub/jacuzzi. The cottages are on a acre of hilltop with spectacular gardens to enjoy & panoramic seaviews

Notes to the rental rates

• All prices quoted are based on four people occupying the Orange Cottage.
  We have a minimum stay policy of three nights.
  For any additional persons occupying the Oranbe Cottage there is an extra £75.00 per person per week.
  We do not charge for children under the age of 2 and provide cots & hi-chairs free of charge.
  Included in the prices quoted are generous welcome hamper on arrival, bathrobes for adults guests to use whilst at Quintassential, pool towels to be used at the Quintassential only, hairdryers & alarm clocks.
  
• To secure you booking at the Quintassential we require a non-refundable deposit of 30% and the balance payable six weeks prior to arrival.
  For longer winter lets from 1st November until 31st March for those wishing to stay longer than 2 weeks, we will give you a 30% discount. Heating charges already included in the tariff
  Payments can be made by UK cheque, via bank transfer into a UK bank account or by credit card.
  We highly recommend car hire for your stay at the Quintassential and can provide you with car hire tariffs & arrange car hire should you require. We also have details on airline carriers flying to the Algarve.
  
• Since we opened our doors to guests in April 2003 until December 2003 we have achieved 34% repeat bookings. This is confirmation of our high standards of accommodation and service to our guests.
  The Quintassential can be booked out individually or as whole and we can cater from 2 to a maximum of 13 people.

Children and Babies at the Quintassential

We do everything possible to ensure that families with children have a holiday that is both fun & relaxing. With children of our own we know how important it is to keep kids happy & entertained on holiday, within a safe & secure environment. The Quintassential is totally fenced & accessed via electric gates, so a very safe place. There is a lot of space for children to play & to discover nature, play with Alfie our children loving dog, we have two dogs & three cats in total. The apartment cottages are all separated from the pool area, the pool area is enclosed & gated to give parents of toddlers that extra piece of mind. We have a children’s play area available from June 2008 designed for little ones situated on a large lawned area amongst an orange grove. There is a slide, swings, seesaw, playhouse etc, this area adds an exciting dimension for all the visiting children and keeps them occupied for hours. There is also a seating area for adults to relax, unwind & top up tans

Baby Equipment Available

For babies we have baby paddling pools to use on our pool terrace or your accommodations private terrace We do not charge for children under the age of 2 & can provide a range of equipment for babies/toddlers free of charge, meaning you can travel lighter! The following equipment can be made available to all our guests on request: ·Travel Cot with linen ·Moses Basket with linen – for babies up to 3 months ·High chair ·Baby Bath with towels ·Reclining chair (up to 6 months) with attachable activity toy ·Floor activity centre (up to 6 months) ·Feeding equipment - children's cutlery, bowls, cups etc – each accommodation has a selection ·Chicco steam bottle steriliser ·Baby Bottle warmer ·Large Chicco Playpen ·Electric hand blender – each cottage has one ·Changing mat ·Potty ·Child toilet seat and step ·Bed Guard ·Chicco pushchair (up to 12 months) ·Satellite TV (CBeebies!) The Quintassential is ideally located for golfing holidays. We are a 10 minute drive from the world famous golf courses of Quinta Do Lago, Vale do Lobo & Vilamoura. Please ask regarding any special golfing discounts.
