The well equipped kitchen is separated by a breakfast bar from the living room, complete with large log fire. 2 twin bedded bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms. A covered area is perfect for al fresco dining whilst the roof terrace, with incredible views of the coastline, allows sun-bathing in total privacy.

Gardens

The extensive sub-tropical gardens of Casa Moinho are there to be enjoyed by guests. A barbeque sits at the bottom of a flight of steps leading from the belvedere at the end of the pool. Lovely walks in the surrounding countryside.

Tavira

This is an ancient town of great charm - the possessor of over 30 churches and many historic buildings. With narrow streets and alleyways and bars unchanged for decades, it is a place to wander and experience a life fast disappearing. Casa Moinho is well placed for those wishing to explore the little known and still untouched hills of the Algarve...an area time has truly forgotten. But it is also within striking distance of the more lively attributes of the Algarve !! Spain is just down the road and Seville is within 2 hours travel.

Golf Information:

There are now several golf courses within about 15 minutes drive of the property. Benamor, east of Tavira, is a delightful and well-regarded addition for the golfers of the Algarve - it has spectacular views of the hills and the sea to enjoy whilst you are playing and a club house which incorporates a chapel of great beauty. Quinta Ria again very beautiful 2 -18 hole courses on the edge of the sea. Castro Marim near Vila Real offers a slightly more challenging game. Various courses within 25 mins drive over the border into Spain...Tennis is also available in the vicinity. Deep sea fishing and sailing all within 15/20 mins . Para- gliding, kite surfing, etc. within easy reach at Cabanas and Tavira Island.
