A superior apartment in the Balaia Golf Village. The apartments were built around mature cork oaks, pine and almond trees, surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens and a challenging 9-hole par 3 golf course. The apartment overlooks beautiful gardens and the lounge and master bedroom open onto balconies. Patio furniture is supplied. Comfortably furnished to a high standard, it has a fully equipped kitchen including fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee percolator. The lounge/diner has cable TV, fireplace. Facilities include 6 swimming pools, golf driving range, 4 tennis courts, Health Club with gym, heated pool, Jacuzzi and steam room. There are 2 restaurants 'A Varanda' and 'The Club' both offering good food and theme evenings. Balaia is ideal for either a completely relaxing or an active holiday. Balaia can now offer a wireless zone where you can plug your own laptop and an Internet Cafe.

Facilities: Transfers to and from airport, local taxis and restaurants can be booked through reception. The resort has a commercial area with supermarket, clinic, hairdresser, newsagent, etc.

Local attractions.: Zoo Marine and Splash & Slide are only a short ride away. Albufeira old town is a 30 minute walk away or a 5 minute taxi ride. Buses stop just outside the complex and service the whole region.

Golf: There is a 9-hole par 3 golf course with clubhouse and shop. Driving range, putting green, golf academy and lessons with one of the two resident professionals. There are 4/5 local courses within each reach including Salgados, Valderama, Milenio, etc.
