Information for families: The apartment overlooks the large communal pool and the small children's pool, which are set in pleasant gardens. Spacious terraces surround the pools; perfect for sunbathing on one of the many sun loungers provided or just relaxing under a parasol. There are plenty of beautiful sandy beaches nearby, most of which have cafes. The nearest, Prai De Oura, is just a 10-minute walk away. The local restaurants are very child-friendly and generally have children's menus or provide children's portions if you ask. If you have small children and need cots or high chairs, please let us know - they are available on request.
Golf: Balaia Golf Village and Pine Cliffs are just down the road if you fancy a quick 9 holes. If you're here for the golf, you probably won't need us to tell you that there are around a dozen world-class courses in Vilamoura, Quinto do Lago and Vale do Lobo, all within 20 minutes’ drive. In total there are nearly 30 courses within half an hour or so, most of them as good as anywhere in Europe. We've catered for golfers, being golfers ourselves; you'll find details of all the local courses in a file in the apartment to whet your appetite before you get out and play.
