This summer holiday rental is a 2003 'superior grade' ground floor apartment. The lounge and two bedrooms open to their own terraces, with open views over the golf driving range. The spacious main bedroom with generous wardrobe space, has an en-suite bathroom with twin wash basins, a whirlpool bath with shower over, plus toilet and bidet. Two other attractive bedrooms, again with generous wardrobes share a second bathroom. This summer holiday rental apartment has a kitchen featuring high quality appliances and equipment. A utility room houses washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board. The apartment is beautifully furnished. The lounge is very relaxing and comfortable and the bedrooms spacious. There is satellite TV providing English channels and a Hi-Fi system. Although close to beaches, the six pools, golf, tennis.kids club and leisure centre facilities provide an alternative summer holidy rental apartment holiday. Plenty of patio furniture. Bed linen and towels provided.

The Balaia Golf Village with its' testing 9-hole Golf Course, sits between the pretty seaside fishing village of Olhos da Agua and the golden sandy beaches of Praia D'Oura. It is a comfortable ten minute ride to lively Albufeira and within easy reach of Vilamoura, Vale de Lobo and other golf courses in the Algarve. It is approximately a 2hr-45min flight from Southern UK airports to Faro and around a 35 minute drive to Balaia Golf Village from Faro Airport . The Balaia Golf Village is ideally located for a summer holiday rental with apartments and villas scattered throughout the delightful landscape. There are many places to visit for shopping or site-seeing. Nearby Portimao is renowned for its fish restaurants serving freshly grilled sardines brought into port that morning. Dont miss Algarve Shopping a modern shopping mall en route to Portimao. There are water parks for the young and young-at-heart. Nearby, Zoomarine has many creatures of which the bottlenose dolphins reign supreme.

    Where a booking spans two price periods, a pro rata calculation will apply. We require a 25% deposit to confirm a booking, with the balance payable six weeks before arrival. Cancellation charges do apply - please ask for details.

Notes: In addition to the 6 adults we can accommodate 2 children or babies. Please no smoking inside the apartment, but you are very welcome to smoke on the terraces. Maid service and linen/towel change weekly, usually on Saturdays, included in the rental. You can, if you wish, request additional maid service and laundry changes for an additional charge, which you pay us with your rental balance. 'Central heating' refers to five fan-assisted electric convector heaters. 'Swimming Pool' refer to six outdoor pools, most with a child's pool. The Fitness Room refers to the on site indoor Health Centre. A charge for this facility is payable on site. There is no private pool for our apartment. 'Tennis Court' refers to four on site all-weather courts. 'Internet Access' is not available within the apartment itself, it refers to the 24 hour Internet Office facilities located in Reception - there is a charge for use of the 3 on-line computers

Other Activities: If golf is not for you there are also: four all weather tennis courts, six outdoor swimming pools (no charge), each with it's own kiddies pool. Tennis Court Rental €12.00 per hour. Then there is the indoor Health centre with: heated pool, gym, jacuzzi, steam room and massage room. Charges: (1 day / 1 week). Pool & Jacuzzi * €8.50 / €31.50. Turkish Bath €5.50 / €16.00. Gymnasium €5.50 / €16.00. All Inclusive. €13.50 / €41.50. (* half price for children below 12 years). Please enquire for latest price update.

Other Facilities: There is on site Management and an excellent 24hr. Reception, where you can: change money, book taxis, book airport transfers, arrange baby sitting, hire cots, etc. You will find them always most helpful. Reception also has an internet facility for guests. The Village has its own range of shops adjacent to the main village entrance, comprising a: supermarket / newsagent, hairdressing salon and beauty parlour. You will also find the village's own 'A Varanda' restaurant providing a range of food and drink from simple snacks to gourmet meals, often enhanced with live music in the evenings. Two of the swimming pools and the Clubhouse also have restaurants / snack bars. There is a minibus service running from the Village into Albufeira Old Town. Airport Transfers are available. 1 to 4 persons €31.00 5 to 8 persons €49.00. (These are one way fares)

Golf: Balaia Golf Village has its own award winning, testing, executive 9 hole course, with distances ranging from 67 to 160 metres. You must wear proper golf shoes fitted with soft spikes to play this course. There is no handicap requirement. Once you have a confirmed reservation for the apartment, you can book tee times with the Golf Shop, in person or by phone to (00351) 289 570 442. There is a driving range, a practice bunker, chipping and putting greens. An impressive club house with a large terrace overlooking the first tee, has a restaurant, reception, pro shop, club hire, trolleys and lockers. Golfing lessons in a group or individually are available. Green Fees 9 Holes €25.00 18 Holes €35.00..... Rental of golf clubs and bag 9 holes €19.00, 18 holes €26.00..... Basket of 50 practice golf balls €4.00...... Club hire for practice range €2.50 per club. There are several international standard courses within 15km of the village. Again you must wear proper golf shoes fitted with soft spikes to play these courses. They all have handicap requirements, generally (but not universally) 28 for men and 36 for ladies and you must present your authorised handicap card. Main reception can achieve reduced green fees and book tee times for these courses for you. Enquire at main Reception once you arrive in the Village, or phone: 00351 289 570 200, once you have a confirmed reservation.
