In a peaceful location on the much sought after 'Clube Albufeira' complex. This tastefully decorated apartment comprises of fully fitted & equipped kitchen, complete with microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher & washer dryer. 2 twin bedrooms with large fitted slide robe wardrobes. 2 Bathrooms [1 en-suite] both have a shower/bath, WC and bidet and vanity suite. Spacious lounge/dining with dining table that seats 6, double sofa-bed, satellite television, DVD player & air conditioning/heating. Patio doors lead straight onto south facing terrace & garden, complete with patio furniture & own BBQ. On the site complex there are 4 pools, only 3 mins away , a fabulous restaurant, which offers snacks & a full 'A la Carte' menu, including an English Sunday Roast Dinner! Prices inclusive of all utilities & club facilities. Small welcome pack can be provided for 20 Euro paid locally. Apartment available from 3pm on day of arrival & must be vacated by 10am on departure day. Return airport transfers can be arranged, if not hiring a car, 80Euro payable on collection (100 Euro 5-7 people). Information, tee times, transport to Vilamoura golf courses can be arranged.
    Long term rentals & daily rates may be available, on request.

Birdwatching in the Algarve: Situated at Sagados - 15 min ride in a car from the apartment. Flocks of visiting Greater Flamingos are the number one attraction here, it also harbours several rare resident species, include the Black-winged Stilt, Purple Gallinule and Little Bittern, as well as scores of interesting migrants. The Parque National da Ria Formosa consists of coastal lagoons, vast areas of tidal flats, saltmarsh and saltpans that are enclosed by a belt of sand dune islands and peninsulas. It is of particular importance as a wintering area for many birds from northern Europe and as a resting and feeding station for birds migrating between Africa and Europe. Occurring in notable numbers are Black-tailed Godwits, Ringed Plovers and Little Stints. Also to be seen -Bittern, Purple Swamp-hen, Purple Heron, Red-crested Pochard, Collared Pratincole, Kentish Plover, European Bee-eater, Red-necked Nightjar, Woodchat Shrikes.Quinta do Lago area - Marsh Harriare resident and Booted Eagles are regular in winter.

ALGARVE MOTOR PARK : Newly opened motor park situated near to Portimao, approximately 20 min drive from our property. The motor park holds international Superbike Championships, plus other racing and car events throughout the year. There is also an international Go-Kart circuit where the public can go and hire Go-Karts for fun. One of the biggest karting circuits in Europe. The apartment and the complex were fantastic; we visited some lovely restaurants, eat very nice food and wine, made a visit to see the Dolphin show and chilled out in the sun for four days.

Just a quick note to say that we enjoyed staying in the apartment – having 2 bathrooms worked really well (a first in a holiday apartment for us) and the washing machine a godsend! The complex was great and the children had a fantastic time in the big pool.

furnished to a very high standard and had absolutely everything we could
possibly need plus more!! My daughter loved the DVD's (there were all her
favorites!!), and we found all the maps and information very useful.

Apartment spacious and clean with lovely comfortable furnishings and decorations. Great for self catering - full oven, fridge and freezer. The sun never left our patio! - south facing all day. Temp 22 - 24 - good for walking and exploring - plenty of birds to be seen on the clube alone. Loved having bnreakfast on the pation with the Hoopie pecking at the lawn!

Great break away

The propery was just as the pictures illustrate - it was a spacious apartment built within lovely grounds which were well maintained on a daily basis.

Our accomodation was clean and tidy when plenty of towels for all. There was enough space not to see the children all the time. haha.

There was excellent communication prior to my holiday as well as contact with alison on the island for an y queries.

I would definately recommend friends and I will definately be going back myself later in the year.

Given that we went mid February 2009 - the largest pool as indicated in the picture was being painted and retiled. However there were another 3 to choose from including an heated pool. What can I say........... enough for 3 teenage girls to keep them happy.

Off site - there are local shops down town or on the strip which is more of a tourist area - where food is more reasonably priced than down town Albuferia.

We did not venture out much as I was a single lady travelling with three teenage girls and we all just wanted to laze around - but there were plenty of trips and activities locally or within an hour drive as advertised in the welcome pack as well at the main reception area.

For the party goers there are clubs/disco or open bars as they call for the dancers - there was a great R & B, and Dance club.......

Apartment: Maintained to a good standard. Very clean. Nice size kitchen with good facilities. Just one moan. Could do with a couple more saucepans. Good sized bedrooms. Wardrobe space more than adequate for a family. With the patio area being South facing ideal for a winter break.

Site: All of the sites facilities are no more then a five minute walk away from the apartment.Grounds are maintained to a high standard.The site is hilly! Free (on site ) bus transfer into Albufeira old town. Also, a regular bus service from the main entrance into the old town.

Location: Aprox., 1 mile from Albufeira old town. Hilly walk!

Shopping: Old town. Modelos supermarket. Much cheaper than the local supermarkets. Taxi rank right outside.Not expensive.

Overall: Good value. Hilly!

Tip: From main entrance turn left. 600 yards local Portugese bar. No frills but cheap beer!!!!!! Enjoy :)

Very relaxing, a brillant place to unwind

This property is really lovely, the pictures do not do it justice!
It is very well equiped, tasfully decorated and comfortable. As a family travelling with a young child, the property is very safe both in location and design.
There are a selection of onsite restuarants and pools - the purple restuarant is very good!
The town of Albufeira is a short drive and nagivating the roads is very easy, very polite drivers!!
We have recommended this to all our freinds and family since we came home. A lovely place for a hoilday.
