Our comfortable and modern apartment enjoys a quiet location, slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of the large resorts. It is on the top (third floor) of a small aparthotel complex of just 80 apartments. The complex has three elevators and a central staircase servicing all floors. Also on site there is:- 24 hour reception with money and exchange facilities; Snack bar; Bar and restaurant; Outdoor swimming pool for adults with a shallow end for children, poolside snack bar and sun lounger’s.

While slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of the large resorts apartment Vaucosta is still within easy reach of all the local amenities. The old fishing village of Alvor, with its long sandy beach, little winding streets and many bars and restaurants is just 15 minutes away by car. In the other direction 10 minutes by car will bring you to the old town of Portimao where the beaches are some of the best around and the shops and night life are more in abundance. The narrow streets of the shopping area are now all pedestrianised making it a safe place to wander and browse. Portimao sits on the estuary of the river Arade and the quayside is famous for its many fish restaurants. Many local boat owners are there to offer you some deep sea fishing, or a leisurely boat trip along the coast. The river trip inland to the old Moorish city of Silves should not be missed.

  • The apartment can be booked on an individual, first come, first serve basis. A 50% deposit is necessary to secure the booking. Note:- Please note that prices are shown, charged and are payable in Euros; For UK clients we can accept pound sterling payments subject to confirmation and depending on the rate of exchange ruling at date of payment, conversion differences may arise; The new amount received in euros shall be the guiding factor. All prices shown above are inclusive of all utility charges.
  • 1.) Check availability on line via this site.
    2.) Change over days are flexible though Saturdays are proffered
    3.) A 50% deposit along with your arrival and departures dates and time is required upon booking.
    4.) Receipt of deposit and booking information will be confirmed by e-mail or by post
    5.) Balance of monies is payable 4 weeks before arrival
    6.) Payment methods can be by:- Cheque (made payable to Nick & Kay Palmer) Postal address will be given at time of booking. Cash (not advisable if cannot be personally hand delivered).   • The price shown is for two people sharing the apartment for one week.
    There is an additional supplement to be paid per person per week for numbers of people over two.

There are local supermarkets and restaurants within easy walk of the complex. The complex is within a 250 mtr walk of a sheltered sandy beach. There is also an 18 hole golf course - (Alto Golf Club) - within 10 minutes walking distance or 2 minutes by car/taxi. The apartment and resort is suitable for both families and couples. The busy nightlife of Portimao is just a ten minute car/taxi ride for those wanting a little more excitement in the evenings.

Apartment information: Apartment Vaucosta is furnished to a high standard and the accommodation consists of:- 1 double bedded room with ensuite shower and toilet; 1 twin bedded room with adjacent bathroom. A spacious lounge which can also accommodate guests with its double sofa bed; A bright, fully fitted open plan kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and electric hob with four rings; A comfortable open plan living area; A terrace leading directly from the open plan living area. Fully functional air conditioning; Freeview satellite TV/DVD/Radio plus a small selection of DVD's; Private entrance door via communal hall way; All linen including towels and duvets are provided but we would ask guests to bring towels for use by the pool or on the beach; An Ironing board and iron are also available.
