This first floor townhouse is situated in the old village of Vilamoura, which is surrounded by the beautiful fairways of Pinhal Golf Course and its own picturesque gardens and walkways. The townhouse has a large lounge comfortably seating 6 people, 3 twin bedrooms, each of which is fully air-conditioned, keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter, and a large roof terrace which has sea and golf course views. The complex has the use of 3 swimming pools with sun beds available for hire (charges apply in summer) and has a large grassed children play area with climbing frames and slide etc. The apartment is above a supermarket which is open everyday. There are restaurants and 2 quiet bars within walking distance.

Golf: This 3 bedroom townhouse is less than 10 minutes drive from Vilamoura's 4 (soon to be 5)champinship golf courses. The OLD COURSE being one of the first courses built in the Algarve and still the favorite in Vilamoura with every hole being lined with umbrella pines.Pinhal is also lined by pine trees for most of the course but on the back 9 you also get a few glimpses of the sea. LAGUNA, as the name suggests, has plenty of water holes so bring some old balls with you for this one. MILLENNIUM has a contrast of tight pine tree lined holes and nice open holes that encourage you to open your shoulders up a bit. You will enjoy playing any or all of these courses.

Fantastic Holiday, Again

Just back from a two week stay in this townhouse in the Old Village. This was our second family vacation here and we noticed some familiar faces around the pool from last year so clearly it's a popular place for returning visitors. Other friends and family have also stayed here in the last year following our recommendation and all have loved the place. The townhouse was perfect for our needs (family of four with Granny in tow for the first week). It's large, clean and well equipped. Emma was a pleasure to deal with and as nice, helpful and efficient as always.The Old Village complex itself is beautifully maintained and is a really pretty setting for a summer holiday. There are bars/restaurants and a supermarket on-site but the complex is only a 15 minute walk to more extensive options in the Marina (which is fabulous if a bit pricey). The Marina is heaven for the petrolhead in the family as there are plenty of very fancy cars to look at, not to mention the boats which are spectacular. The beach (just beyond the Tivoli hotel) is gorgeous and had a very Cape Cod/New England feel to it. We are already plotting our return next year.

The apartment was great- really clean, kitchen with all essentials and more, ideal location. Stunning views from roof terrace. The village was a beautiful place to stay, will definitely return.

Thank you for such a great holiday, the apartment was clean and full of home comforts!! It was ideally situated, i would recommend this property anytime. It was also nice to see a friendly face (Emma) to greet us with the key and show us around, and to know if/should there be any problems there was someone around to help.

I can only say that the apartment and complex more than lived up to my and my fellow holidaymakers expectations.
The description given is fair and accurate and the nice Lady (Emma) who looks after it all is just the same:fair and accurate! If you want somewhere to stay in the Vilamoura area, this is nice, as it is very clean, quiet and just a short 5 min cab journey or 15 minute walk to the Marina.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Our week in the sun...21/06/08 to 28/06/08

I found the apartment to be spacious, clean, and homely which contained every amentity that ensured our holiday was a sucess.The complex contained three swimming pools and we were easily able to get sunbeds and found the bars and restaurants on site very accomodating. The description of the location was accurate and we found it a great base to visit the resort. One of our favourite restaurants was the Dom Miguel just on the outskirts of the marina where the food and service were excellent. 20 minutes drive away was vale de lobo were the restaurants and outside musical entertainment was a right treat.I would recommend these apartments to couples, families and anyone who wants to enjoy a luxurious restful break in the sun, we will definitely be returning to these apartments.
