Photos and Description of this Vilamoura holiday apartment This is a 3 bedroom townhouse sleeping 6 people with 2 batrooms and seperate wc

3 bedroom 2 bathroom townhouse with own small garden, patio area, table, chairs and sun loungers, leading onto the main swimming pool. The en suite bedroom on the 1st floor has its own balcony overlooking the pool. All bedrooms have air con. On the roof is a large sun terrace, with a BBQ, sun loungers and table and chairs. A well equipped kitchen, with oven, washing machine, microwave etc. The supermarket, restaurants and bars are less than a minutes walk away. Please note that the Old Village charges for the use of the sun loungers around the pool in the busier months of the season. This property can be used in conjunction with the property next door to accommodate a larger group of people. (However, the property next door is currently undergoing refubishment and does not yet have its own web site but will be ready for Easter 2010).

Location: Vilamoura in Portugal

Nearest Beach: beach at 2.0 Kilometres
Car: recommended
The old village is located in the centre of vilamoura, just a 20 minute walk or 2 minute taxi ride from Europe’s largest marina, with its wealth of restaurants, cafes, bars and designer shops. Miles and miles of safe sandy beaches are a 30 minute walk away. Within a 5 minute drive are Vilamouras 5 championship golf courses, which will test any golfer. The complex has its own supermarket, restaurants, and bars all within a couple of minutes walk. Vilamoura can satisfy any sporting need you may have, and is also great if you just want to laze around enjoying the fabulous weather.

Fantastic holiday!!

We loved this holiday rental, it had everything we needed, very clean and maintained to a high standard. The location was perfect for us with a small child who was able to play in the garden and then we could wander a few steps to the picturesque pool. We were met by the owner, collected in their arranged taxi without fuss and they were on hand to deal with any help we might have needed. The Old Village is a superb complex, this is the second time we have visited, and with bars/restaurants and a well stocked supermarket on site you wouldn't need to leave! However Vilamoura is only a 5 minute walk away and is not to be missed! Back to the Old Village, we loved Zanzibar... this you must try for lovely food and drinks and great service.

Would highly recommend this property for families

Having organised our transport from the airport for us, we were met at the property by Emma, who showed us where everything was. The property was extremely clean and catered for all our needs and overlooked the pool which was lovely. The welcome pack provided was a nice touch. It was our first holiday with our 8 month old grandaughter and her parents and we found it excellent. Location was spot on, only a couple of minutes walk from supermarket, bars and restaurants. A pleasant 15 minute walk to the lovely Marina at Vilamoura and only 3.25 euros in a taxi. This beautiful townhouse was perfect for our every need. Emma was an absolute gem, so helpful. We would definately come back and would recomment to family and friends.

We chose this property after being recommended by a friend and we were suitably impressed. The owners have a small number of properties in this location and they are very helpful and easy to deal with. The location itself is ideal for families and as a base to look further around the region. The townhouse was excellent value for money and we will definitely be returning. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
