A luxury, modern air-conditioned apartment set in an attractive landscaped environment. This spacious apartment, entered from ground level, is fully equipped with all the facilities required for a comfortable, relaxing holiday. It consists of a lounge/dining area, kitchen, utility room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a large terrace. The lounge has 2 comfortable chairs, sofa (converts into a double bed), coffee table, Satellite TV and DVD/CD player. Patio doors lead out to the terrace. The kitchen is equipped with quality Bosch appliances - fridge freezer, oven, hob and dishwasher. The adjacent utility room is fitted with washing machine and tumble drier. The main bedroom has a king-size bed with en-suite bathroom, patio doors lead out to the terrace. The second bedroom has 2 single beds with window to front, and hallway to second bathroom. The large terrace/balcony area (25+sq m), with sunbeds, table and chairs, enjoys superb views of the surrounding landscaped area and sunsets.

Vila Sol Village is part of the 5* Vila Sol Golf, Beach and Country Club complex, situated inside the 'Golden Triangle' resorts of Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo and Vilamoura, just 20 minutes west of Faro airport. It is home to the championship golf course at Vila Sol, which has twice hosted the Portuguese Open. Within a few minutes drive, there are also numerous other golf courses to enjoy, some of the most famous in the world in nearby Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago. Vilamoura Marina, only 3 kilometres away, has a variety of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. There are superb sandy beaches nearby and quiet coves all along the coast to get away from it all. For family fun and to keep the kids amused, there is a water park called The Aqua Park only 5 minutes drive from the apartment, and Zoo Marine and Crazy World are within easy reach.

  • A 25% (non-refundable) deposit is required to secure the booking. The balance is required 6 weeks before the start of your holiday.
  • In addition to these rates, a deposit of £150 is required prior to travel to cover any damage or breakages. This will be refunded within 10 days of departure once the apartment has been inspected by our Property Manager.
  • Additional services are available on request including car hire, taxis, food parcel on arrival, cots, high chairs, and babysitting. We can also arrange for you and your party to be met and escorted to the apartment.

Vila Sol Village: is part of the luxury 5* Vila Sol Golf, Beach and Country Club development situated 17kms west of Faro airport. It provides a relaxing retreat in an attractive and extensive landscaped area, with facilities including 3 swimming pools, sunbeds, jacuzzi, children’s pools and poolside snack bar. Other facilities include a Health Spa and tennis, together with restaurants and a Piano Bar at the 5 Star Vila Sol Hotel. Open from June 1st each year, there is a private beach club between Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago, just 15 minutes away by car, with a beach bar/restaurant, various water sports and free sunbeds. Golfers are catered for with the 27-hole championship golf course at Vila Sol. Designed by the renowned English architect Donald Steel, the course hosted the Portuguese Open in the early 1990’s, and will provide a challenging test for golfers of all handicaps.

Recommended places to visit locally: Vilamoura - with its beautiful International Marina and beaches is a 5 minute drive away, and has a variety of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. There are also boutique style shops as well as banks and a post office. Quarteira (2 km) – with its popular weekly market, well worth a browse for souvenir shopping and local goods. The beach is clean and extends over a wide area; Loule – historic town with a bustling centre and weekly market; Vale do Lobo/Quinta do Lago - the famous exclusive resorts, with a variety of restaurants, shopping and world famous golf courses; Tavira – this unspoilt, charming town to the east of Faro sits on the Gilao River and has a fantastic beach at Isle da Tavira. The nearest large supermarket is called Apolonia, approx 10 minutes drive away in Almancil, which also has several restaurants and shops.

We had a fabulous family holiday, the resort is perfect for families and was busy with many families on their second visit.
Apartment was clean and spacious.Very close by there is now a supermarket open 7 days a wk, some shops plus a pub, resturant and sandwich shop.
Excellent choice of golf courses.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Three of us enjoyed a relaxing week in this well furnished, spacious, clean and attractive apartment in June 2008
The grounds were beautifully kept and the various pools clean and quiet, with nicely padded sunbeds and umbrellas.
The huge terrace was a bonus and it was lovely to eat alfresco overlooking the large garden.
Our only minor complaints were the beds were a little on the hard side and there wasn't an umbrella for the terrace but apart from that it was great.
You do need a car as there are not many places within walking distance to eat.
It will be better when the shops are completed later this year and I assume that will include some form of supermarket and maybe restaurant.
.............and for those of you who enjoy pottering in the kitchen whilst away, this apartments one was very well equipped kitchen and of a good size.
All in all it was a very comfortable holiday
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children
