Vilamoura is a golfers dream, with no less than five championship courses in the immediate vicinity. The Old Course, Pinhal, Millennium, Laguna and Victoria golf courses, all surround this beautiful complex of Vistamoura. The Old Course has gentle sloping hills & tree lined fairways, it hosted the Portugese open in 1970 & 1979. Pinhal winds through umbrella pines, while Laguna has water on half of the holes. The Millennium Course opened in 2000 & is one of the most attractive courses in Portugal. And finally the Victoria Course designed by Arnold Palmer was opened in 2004.
