• 25% on booking- 75% 6 weeks prior to the start date. For bookings made less than 6 weeks before departure date payment must be made in full at time of booking. €250 deposit for breakages/damage. Minimum booking 1 week. Changeover day is Saturday but this may be negotiable outside peak times. Weekly rates apply to all peak weeks, no nightly rates. Villa should be vacated by 10am on departure day.

Vilar do Golf Facilities

Vilar do Golf is situated within the estate of Quinta do Lago but is a community in its own right. The property is situated very close to the Bobby Jones Bar and restaurant and also to the reception area and club house. Bikes can be hired near the reception area where there is also a supermarket, gift shop and cafe. The pool complex is also very close to the house. Within this area you will find three outdoor pools, a toddler's pool, a large adult pool and a pool with football nets. The poolside is well equipped with free sunbeds and umbrellas. Indoors there is a further pool and jacuzzi. There is a poolside snack bar, a gymnasium, beautician and sauna. During the summer months the children can be entertained at the Vilar do Golf children's club. Tennis and volleyball are also available. The area is very safe for children.

Facilities within Quinta do Lago

Quinta do Lago consists of six roundabouts, off which there are separate developments. Vilar do Golf is off the 4th roundabout. Off the 6th roundabout you will find the Water sports Centre which offers lake fishing, water skiing, windsurfing, pedaloes and scuba diving. Just beyond this roundabout there are two nature trails where you can see many wild birds. Both of these trails take about one hour to walk and there are information points along the paths. A wooden bridge leads to the beautiful beach of Rio Formosa. There is a life guard on duty during the summer months and there is a water sports centre here also. Horse riding is available both within Quinta do Lago and also near Vale do Lobo which is just a few kilometers away. Off the first roundabout (the 'Q' roundabout) there is another supermarket and many shops and restaurants. There are two fine shopping centres nearby one in Faro- Forum Algarve and one near Guia called Algarve Shopping.

Golf Information:

For golfers, the following courses are all within the the Quinta do Lago estate: San Lorenzo, Rio Fermosa and Pinieros Altos. Also nearby are several other courses including Vilamoura 1,2 and 3, the Millennium, the Victoria and Villa Sol golf clubs. The Four Seasons Fairways and Country Club are also five minutes walk away.
