Notes to the rental rates

• Long Winter Rental - commencing November 2008- Just £150.00 per week for a minimum of 3 weeks. Rate applies for two persons sharing. £125 .00 per week for a minimum of 4 weeks stay. A further charge will be charged for additional persons staying. Fantastic value for some winters sun ! This price will include all utilities but for bookings longer than 2 weeks, guests will be responsible for cleaning the villa and linen change. Linen provided.
  All Year Round - If we have availability and you are looking for a last minute holiday (within 4 weeks), we can offer some great discounts, so please enquire !
  
• Christmas and New Year 2008 - prices on application.
  Breakages deposit of £100 required. Use of phone per unit. We can offer cots & high chairs. You will be provided with a welcome pack on arrival and we have a regular maid service and linen change.

THE TOWN OF TAVIRA

The Eastern Algarve is considered to the the unspoilt, authentically Portuguese end of the Algarve and Tavira it's 'crown jewels'. Tavira itself is thought by many artists and writers alike to be the most beautiful town on the Algarve. It is world renowned for it's historical past and fantastic architecture, some of the best examples of which line the banks of the river Gilao and thankfully today, it remains unspoilt. There are no less than 39 churches in this bustling Portuguese town, as well as the usual shops, banks and supermarket and some lovely riverside cafes/restaurants. There is also a bus and train station. Tavira is well located being only 35 mins from Faro airport and 35 mins from the Spanish border. Which allows you to visit both countries during your stay, should you wish to explore !

LOCAL FACILITIES

The coastal town of Tavira is close to both the long sandy beaches and the rolling hills, ideal for walking or mountain biking. Bikes can be hired in town. Water parks are within easy driving distances and goods and craft markets can be visited locally. If golf is your passion, then you will be spoilt for choice as there are three new courses along this end of the Algarve and others just over the Spanish border. There is a brand new golf course only 10/15 mins from the villas. The 'Benamor' course is proving to be very popular and very convenient. You will need soft spikes to play ! Boat trips and other excursions can be organised by the tourist office in town. There is a daily produce market where you can buy fresh fish, meat, fruit and vegetables as well as local honey and homemade sweet treats - naughty but very nice! This is the place to get your BBQ goodies !

The Portuguese love celebrations, parades and festivals so you will undoubtedly experience a taste of these during your stay. Be prepared for a late night as they tend to start these late in the evening. Just take a coffee or beer at one of the many cafes and watch them go by ! So if you fancy a relaxing, peaceful holiday in beautiful accommodation in a fantastic location, then you found your perfect holiday. Golf Information:

The Algarve is world renowned for it's golf courses and historically these have been located in Central and Western Algarve. However in recent times the Eastern Algarve has benefitted from the creation of a number of new courses. The following courses are all within a 1/2 hour drive of the villas. Fuzeta - Colina Verde Cabanas - Benamor Nora - Quinta da Ria / Quinta da Cima Monte Gordo - Castro Marim / Monte Rei Castro Marim - Quinta do Vale Approximately 1 hour drive away heading East, you will reach the Spanish border where you will find additional courses. Heading West, you will find courses at; Vilamoura, Vale de Lobo, Quinta da Lago and Quarteira. After a long day out there on the greens you will be pleased to return to our lovely villas and enjoy a glass of something by the poolside !
