The Old Village is a charming and peaceful retreat, located alongside the lush fairways of Pinhal golf course in the heart of Vilamoura. The 5 bed townhouse (bookings from 4 to 12 people) is privately owned and set amongst other accommodation which are a wonderful mix of classic Regency façade and Andalusian town houses, painted in warm pastel colours. The gardens and walkways are beautifully kept. On site there are swimming pools, restaurants, bars and a supermarket which is open every day. It is within walking distance of all other amenities, including tennis (14 courts), Cinema, (films in English, latest releases), Church, Medical Centre, Restaurants, Bars, Night Clubs and Discotheques, Casino, Supermarkets, Shops, Banks, Post Office, Marina and within walking distance of the magnificent EEC blue flag Falesia beach which stretches for miles. The Old Village is an oasis of calm within easy reach of Vilamoura's vibrant Marina and its safe, sandy beaches.

Vilamoura is reputedly the largest private holiday development in Portugal and perhaps the whole of Europe. This is a holiday playground with the largest marina in Europe and plays host to many varied land and water based activities. Five star luxurious Hotels, restaurants, shops and beautiful sea views surround the marina. A wide range of sports activities are available from tennis to lawn bowling or diving to clay pigeon shooting. Located just twenty minutes from Faro Airport, it is readily accessible by air as well as sea. There are five championship golf courses in Vilamoura, including the Arnold Palmer designed Victoria which opened in September 2004 and played host to the golf World Cup in 2005. The Portuguese Masters is played there every October and provides an excellent opportunity to see Europe's top golfers. There are golf academies at each of the golf courses and an additional independent golf academy is also available.

Notes: The 2 swimming pools are for use by all guests staying in the Old Village. There are plenty of sun chairs for use by guests. The townhouse is set amongst other townhouses and apartments and shares beautiful gardens which are traversed by well maintained walkways. The accommodation which is set over four floors has a large sun terrace on the fourth floor, with beautiful views to the sea and over Pinhal golf course. A cot and high-chair are available at this townhouse for our guest´s convenience.

Vilamoura Marina: The marina is perhaps the hub of Vilamoura. There are many restaurants, bars and shops in this exquisite setting and the palm tree studded marina plays hosts to many yachts and ships.
