A very secluded, private villa for a relaxing holiday

Vivenda Rosa Maria is a secluded, peaceful villa, many people return to us year after year for their relaxing, summer break. The villa was re-furbished in 2005 with new beds, all soft furnishings and white goods. You are guaranteed a home from home feel, even an orchard to pick your fresh lemons for your sundowner GT's, to be enjoyed on the spacious outside terraces overlooking your private pool. Also there's a BBQ for your relaxing meals together and for the winter months a large open fire in the cosy lounge. Our maid Fernanda comes three times a week , the pool and outside area are cleaned regularly by Batista. There is a brand new (2006) hotel within walking distance, with all facilities such as tennis, gym, volleyball, mountain bikes bars and restaurants, you can take advantage of all these at discounted rates. The beauty of this villa is the privacy, as you are not overlooked by anyone, if it's tranquillity you are looking for then you will not want to leave !!

Notes to the rental rates

• When making your booking we require a 25 % deposit to secure the dates within 2 weeks, then payment in full 6 weeks before you depart. You can either arrange this by bank transfer or post a cheque directly to our bank, all details will be given when making the booking.
  
• We also rent for long term and short breaks, please contact us to discuss prices.
  
• Whilst all the above dates are change over on a Saturday, we are flexible on the day you may want to arrive, as we know that the flight prices may on different days.

About the area

You are 10 minutes from Albufeira, 15 minutes from Vilamoura Marina and 3 km from the fantastic beaches. There are three restaurants within walking distance and the nearest supermarket is 5 minutes away by car. The villa is in a very peaceful area with many surrounding villas being privately owned, there is also a brand new hotel within 5 minutes walk, with a great bar and two restaurants. For the children there are two water parks within 15 minutes, a marine park and a zoo. The night life and many restaurants are 10 minutes away, and the Algarve offers a reliable taxi service, should you want to have a few drinks. The Algarve shopping centre is 10 minutes away with many restaurants, bowling alleys, multiplex cinemas and of course fantastic shops.

Beach and Horse Riding holidays

If you are looking for a horse riding holiday or fancy your first ride on a horse, then this is on your door step, the stables are a two minute walk away. The horses are very well looked after by Georgy, she does morning beach rides for 2 hours and this will include that sought after canter in the sea (experience permitting) there are also lessons and daily hacks out through the Portuguese country side. For the ultimate beach holiday your are 10 minutes away from the most spectacular beaches, the golden Portuguese sand is groomed daily, some stretch for miles while others are hidden away in little coves, most of the beaches have the European Blue Flag, awarded to clean and managed beaches, with a life guard. You can have a leisurely lunch with the freshest fish you will taste or a healthy salad, Portugal has the most fab food.

Walking and Running

For the more active holiday, the Algarve is a fantastic place to walk and run, it boasts the most spectacular cliff top tracks with stunning views over the Atlantic, there are walking and running clubs that meet weekly and we will give you all the information should you wish. There is also a gym at the new hotel within easy walking distance, which can be used at a reduced rate.

Golf Information:

The villa is in the middle of golfing heaven, located 15 minutes to all the Vilamoura courses and 30 minutes to Penina, home of the Portuguese open 2006. We have a section in our visitor file dedicated to you golfers, with all the course information, contact details and prices. We are golfers and have hosted many successful golfing trips in our villa, when you book we can discuss you itinerary, recommend various courses and point you in the direction of the cheapest way to book. The only thing we can't guarantee is how you will play !!!!
