Beautiful 4 Bedroom Villa in a lovely, quiet location close to all amenities

The Villa has 4 bedrooms, 3 in the main building and a lovely guesthouse in the garden providing a 4th bedroom, all with en-suite facilities. There is a beautifully furnished, large living/dining room and facilities include UK satellite TV, video, DVD, CD/Radio. The kitchen has been completely renovated and is fully fitted including a breakfast bar, dishwasher and washing machine. There is air-conditioning throughout, including the guesthouse, which can also provide heating in winter. There is a private swimming pool, 10Mtrs x 4Mtrs with a large sun terrace and barbeque. The gardens are lawned with flower beds and this is a lovely area when it is hot with ample shade when necessary from mature palm trees. Outside tables provide the opportunity to dine on the terrace by the pool, or in the garden. There are sunbeds, chairs and parasols which can be used around the terrace or gardens.

Villa Atlantico is located in a pleasant residential area on the outskirts of the small town of Almancil, which has all local facilities such as shops, supermarkets, banks and many bars and restaurants. It is only 20 kilometres west of the main town and airport of Faro, so there is no long journey from the airport. The market town of Loule is 7 kilometres north, which is a lovely town with a renowned Saturday market. A car is useful, but if you don't want to drive, the local taxi service is excellent. It is only about 10 minutes by car to numerous excellent golf courses, beaches, tennis, horse riding etc.

The Villa

This Villa is a real home from home. It provides a lovely, spacious and comfortable base from which you can explore the beautiful Algarve area in all seasons. Alternatively, it is a secluded and peaceful sun-trap, with shaded areas if required, to relax and unwind. The main living areas of the Villa are on one level, including 2 of the bedrooms, the pool and terrace. There are steps up to the master bedroom on the first floor, and also down from the pool/terrace to the gardens and 4th bedroom. The new fully fitted kitchen provides every necessity for self catering and there is also a pool-side barbeque. If you want to eat out, there are literally dozens of excellent restaurants and bars within easy reach, ranging from take away to Michelin star. There is a resident cat at the Villa, who is friendly and loves company. He isn't a nuisance, but he appreciates anyone who feeds him!

What to do

The Algarve is famous for it's wonderful beaches and climate. It is usually mild in winter, with a cooling breeze in the summer. Most activities are outdoor, with beach/watersports in summer and golf/walking/riding all the year. There are many bars and restaurants in the area, some literally on the beach. The towns of Loule and Faro are each 10 minutes drive away and well worth a visit, an excellent Saturday market at Loule and an interesting harbour area in Faro. If shopping is your pleasure, there are superb complexes at Faro (Jumbo) and at Guia, about 40 minutes down the EN125 towards Portimao. Further afield, Portimao and Lagos in the west and Tavira/Cabanas to the east are less than 1 hour's drive. It is also quite easy to drive or take the train to Lisbon or Seville in around 2 hours, if you want to see one of these beautiful cities. The countryside is also lovely, with Monchique, Alte and the hills north of Loule naturally spectacular.

Golf Information:

The Villa is within 15 minutes drive of 10 first class golf courses. All the other courses along the Algarve are within an hour's drive. Advance bookings can be made, providing a discounted rate for green fees.
