Mill View enjoys a semi-rural setting with panoramic views towards the sea & is 18km from Faro Airport. There is a fully equipped kitchen. The lounge/dining room overlooks the terrace and a 10m x 6m salt water swimming pool. The villa has under floor heating and air-conditioning throughout. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, the main bedroom has a double bed and en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and shower, the second bedroom has twin beds and an en suite bathroom with a walk in shower. Both bedrooms have access to a balcony with tables and chairs. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with twin beds and a separate family bathroom with shower. The lower floor comprises of the fourth bedroom with twin beds and a games room. The games room has a sofa bed, pool table, air hockey table, bar football, boxed games and puzzles. Outside are table and chairs and there are also sun beds around the pool with sun canopies for shade.

Vale Formoso is a small village with a few shops & some very good restaurants & is within walking distance of the villa. The nearest town is Almancil & has a good range of shops, including a pharmacy & supermarket called Apolonia. Faro is a 15 minute drive with the Old Town to visit & the large Forum shopping centre. There are many beach resorts to visit including Quarteria, Vilamoura & Vale Do Lobo all within a 20 minute drive from the villa. Silves is about 30 minute drive from the villa & the castle is beautiful. There are many wonderful golf courses nearby and the most popular are Quinta Do Lago and Vale Do Lobo. Praia da Albondeira is a beautiful sandy cove. Porches is the centre of Algarve's pottery industry and Bar Bacchus serves wonderful light lunches and snacks. Zoo marine is in Guia and you can experience swimming with the Dolphins. The Algarve has many water parks that are great fun, Aqua Show, The Big One & Slide & Splash.

Notes: The outside grounds of Mill View are on three levels accessed via steps. The front of the villa is at lane level and has a large garden and covered parking. There is a terrace outside the lounge doors that leads via steps on both sides down to the salt water swimming pool and garden area. There is also access to the games room via steps from this pool area. Children and the elderly are very welcome but please be aware of the different levels. Mill View has been built at the end of a very old residential lane and enjoys the feeling of the untouched Algarve. Smoking is only permitted outside the villa.

General: All bed linen, towels and face towels are provided. Pool towels provided. Laundry service and villa cleaning are on day of arrival and mid-week Use of two washing machines and one tumble dryer. Gardener and pool cleaner. Welcome food pack. 2 travel cots 1 full size cot 2 high chairs 1 pushchair.

Change over day: Changeover day is Wednesday and arrival can be any time after 2pm, and you need to leave on your day of departure by 11am. We can be flexible in off-peak times.

8 of us enjoyed a wonderful 10 day family holiday here in September. We could not have asked for anything more and felt it was fabulous value for money.
The villa was extremely well appointed and Mandy the owner went out of her way to accomodate all our needs and requirements to a very high standard, in fact she could not have been more helpful and it was lovely to meet her and her husband Nigel on our arrival.
The property was well maintained, non intrusively and to a very high standard.
I must also add that we had our son with us who was 11 months old at the time. Mandy had arranged for us to have use of their stair gates, plus numerous other child friendly aids which added enourmously to us enjoying our holiday.
A fabulous time had by all, thanks for everything and we hope to see you again.

Great Holiday

Just come back from 10 days in this lovely villa.

The villa is beautiful and immaculately clean. The pool is lovely.

It had everything needed for a family holiday. The pool and the games room were a favourite with all our girls. (aged 7 to 17).

The location is ideal for visiting the area. Kids loved ZooMarine and Aqualand.

Margaret and Ray the house managers were helpful and friendly and Maria the maid was a real bonus and not at all intrusive.

It was a pleasure dealing with Mandy the owner.

Couldnt fault this villa in any way. I recommend it for families.

Very Relaxing

We have just returned from a 12 day stay at Mill View and I have to say that we are all incredibly relaxed. Everything you could possibly need is catered for at this villa, it is impeccably clean and has stunning views. The house managers were superb giving excellent back up and support without being intrusive. This is a great base, with great beaches and good golf courses close to hand. We have already enquired on availability for our next stay!

Best Hen Do Ever!!

Me and six of my friends have just returned from the villa and still can't stop talking about it. all of us agreed it was the best holiday we'd all ever had.
the villa itself was absolutely fabulous. on our arrival we were taken back how lovely it was and how convienient it was to the supermarket to top up on another drink or two.
two of the girls were so impressed that within minutes of arriving they were in the pool (however forgot to get undressed first).
the couple who looks after the property over there were helpfull to the most nothing was to much trouble.
the housekeeper who came in was excellent we actually wanted to bring her back in one of our suitcases....
the information at the villa was so helpfull taxi numbers places of interest, businesses and restaurants. Sometimes its a bit difficult when we are away as one of our group is vegetarian, but with the information from the villa we found the perfect restaurant. Fuzio's just minutes away in a car and i have to say had the best meal of my life.
We thank you loads mandy for letting us stay and don't be surprised if you here from us again as we were planning a retrurn before we even left..!!

holiday to remember

Myself, my 3 teenage daughters and two of their boyfriends spent an amazing fortnight at ths villa last year. Everything was brilliant, the pool, the house, the housekepping,the games room the nearness to the sea. Even the neighbours all helped contibute to one of the best and funniest holidays we have ever had. The weather helped of course !!
Thanks again Mandy - wish we could have made it this year!
