Luxury new 4 Bedroom Villa with Pool in Varandas Do Lago, a new upmarket development situated within a protected pine forest near sea and situated between Quinta Do Lago and Vale Do Lobo. Villa built to a far higher standard than many of the adjacent older resorts. This is NOT your typical rental villa. It is our holiday home and has been decorated to a high standard in a modern style. The house is child friendly with latches on gates, (removable) stairs gate a 8x4M Swimming Pool with lockable 1m high safety fence. External pool shower. Various patios done in Portuguese Calçada cobblestone. Rear patio has large dining table with sun umbrella. Landscaped Garden with palm, cypress and olive trees, colourful bouganvilla and oleander bushes and fruit bearing orange, lime and lemon trees. Plenty of sunlongers (teak and rattan). Air Conditioning. Remote control gate, pedestrian gate with child security latch. Widescreen Surround Sound TVs, Sky Satellite/Freeview, DVD.

Varandas Do Lago is a new up market development situated less than 1km from the sea & some great beaches. South of Almancil. Midway between Qunita Do Lago and Vale Do Lobo. Faro Airport is 15 mins away. This is by far the most up market section of the Algarve with stipulations on low rise, low density development and has easy access to beaches, fantastic selection of nearby restaurants, shopping, etc. All water related activities available nearby including sailing, diving. Surfing available on west coast beaches, about 45 mins drive away. Horseriding nearby as well as kids clubs & plenty of other family activities The Algarve has a lot to offer, some nice coastal towns, many with marinas, inland has beautiful historical towns such as Silves and Monchique. Faro and Loule are both nice local towns to visit. Seville about 2 hours away, Lisbon about 2.5 hours away – two great cities for day trips. Other closer parts of Spain such as Lepe & Huelva worth visiting & have nice beaches.

    Departure and arrival days is Saturday (please adjust dates above accordingly as website did not allow me to enter overlapping days)

    20 % deposit on booking. Full payment 6 weeks before departure. An additional security deposit of £500 is payable before arrival, repayable within 30 days of departure. Maximum 8 people excluding infants. No additional rental charge for high chair and cot.

Car Rental: The local taxi services are excellent but you ideally need a car for this part of the Algarve. I am happy to recommend some local discount car rental agencies who offer rates substantially lower than the name brand rental agencies. The local agents are happy to have the car available at the Airport, or, sometimes a better option, to deliver it to you at the Villa. This means you can take a taxi to the villa, avoiding the initial hassle in finding it until you familiarise yourself with the area.

Welcome Pack: We have a welcome pack with all the obvious information for visitors such as maps, golf guides, directions to supermarkets, convenience stores and shopping malls, information on how to use our broadband connection for your own laptop, visitor guides, etc. We are also happy to provide a complementary welcome 'hamper' with some basic food, drinks and some Portuguese wine.
