Wonderful Holiday at Villa Eber

Thanks Andrew + Ana, it was our 1st time in Albufeira and indeed for a Villa holiday and we didn't know quite what to expect as most of our vacations have been of the package type.We arrived on Sat 28th June 2008, a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived in your exquisite country, the taxi ride to the Villa Eber (which Andrew had arranged) and being greeted by Andrew along with an ice cold beer on our arrival at the villa, a great initiation to this kind of holiday and one that I have recommended to friends and family since our return.
Andrew is a very conscientous host and nothing is too much trouble, being helpful and friendly, he put us at ease immiediately
The Villa Eber is as described and extremely clean, tidy and was above our expectations. Thanks also to the maid whose name I can't recall unfortunately.
The location is peaceful and great for a relaxing break, although a car for some people may be recommended, we spent time sometimes walking with occasional taxi rides into the Old Town of Albufeira (the main road being slightly hairy for stroll). The distance to the town is as described but seemed shorter than 2.5km to be honest. The beaches and the resort itself beat the Balearics hands down - no contest!
We met some lovely people on this holiday - thx to Kev and Lynne who also helped make the break a good one.
We will definitely be going back again - as we enjoyed so much our only wish is that it could be more often! Excellent value for money!!

The weather continues very hot with some nice wind so we are off to the Marina to go sailing !
