Casa Valan - originally a traditional Portuguese cottage – has been extended & brought into the 21st century, to give all the modern comforts we can’t seem to live without – even on holiday! The open plan lounge and dining area is light and spacious with comfortable cream leather sofas and marble coffee table. The adjoining kitchen is well equipped & has a very handy window, opening onto the outside dining area – ideal for passing out jugs of sangria & the BBQ steaks. The villa also has a small laundry area, guest toilet and two bedrooms which open onto a large sunny terrace, both with ensuite facilities. Outside there is a large undercover dining & BBQ area, giving ideal shade in the heat of the day and a perfect place to relax in the evening and discuss the day’s events. If you are a sun lover, there are large terraces to choose from, just pick your spot, or if you prefer, cool off in the recently constructed pool (7m x 4m x 1.20m depth) & enjoy the views over the countryside.

• Although the changeover day is specified as Thursday on this villa, there may be some flexibility - please enquire. Cot and high chair can be hired at a small extra charge, and a fold up bed can be hired at an extra £50 per week. End of week clean and linen change - Please note beach towels are not provided.

Owners notes

The villa is actually three bedrooms, however the owners have closed off their own bedroom and bathroom. It is deceptively spacious and tastefully furnished as it was equipped for their own use and not the rental market. This year they have decided to rent out their home and hope that guests who come to stay will enjoy it as much as they do through the winter months. The owners have requested smoking outside the villa only please.

Local attractions

Visit some of the Algarve’s most beautiful beaches, less than 20minutes by car. Or for something more energetic try one of the many Waterparks, Zoomarine, Krazy World, Karting or check out the Algarve shopping centre, with their fabulous shops, bowling alley & multi cinemas. Visit Albufeira’s old town, Villamoura’s marina or the historic towns of Lagos and Silves to name but a few.

Golf Information:

There are 32 Golf courses along the Algarve, all of them are easily accessible from the villa and Paderne is almost exactly in the middle of the Algarve. Championship courses, including Villamoura Old Course, Quinta Do Lago & Salgados are all within a 20minute drive. Discounts are available at most courses, please request when booking
