Outside facilities:
Outside there is a very large undercover area giving ideal shade & is perfect for outside living, easily seating 16/20. Have a game of pool or relax & watch TV, there’s no need to miss your favourite programme just because the sun’s out!
The floodlit BBQ, and not forgetting the 10 x 5m Roman shaped pool with underwater lighting, gives a wonderful backlight over the decking and terraces.
Local attractions:
Visit some of the Algarve’s most beautiful beaches, less than 20minutes by car. Or for something more energetic try one of the many Waterparks, Zoomarine, Krazy World, Karting or check out the Algarve shopping centre, with their fabulous shops, bowling alley & multi cinemas.
Visit Albufeira’s old town, Villamoura’s marina or the historic town of Silves to name but a few.
Golf info:
There are 32 Golf courses along the Algarve, all of them are easily accessible from the villa and Paderne lies almost exactly in the middle of the Algarve. Discounts available at most courses. Championship courses, including Villamoura Old Course, Quinta Do Lago & Salgados are all within a 20minute drive.
Golf:
Portugal provides an all year round climate which facilitates the golfing fraternity. Early morning and late afternoon golf is excellent in the summer months and with the mild winter climate, there is no restriction to what time of day a round of golf can be played in the other months throughout the year. A great selection of courses are all within easy reach of Casa Sandra such as The Pinta and Gramacho courses at Carvoeiro which is roughly 20 minutes away and the purpose built golf resort of Villamoura with lots of great courses is approx a 20 mins drive away. Over the last few years the Portuguese Open has been hosted at Penina, Vila Sol and São Lourenzo, all of which are included in the list of top European championship courses. Sunny playing conditions and immaculately manicured fairways and greens are the norm in the Algarve. There are over 20 courses within a 20 minute drive, so it’s not surprising that keen golfers find that the location of this villa is ideal to combine both a beach and a golfing holiday, and it also works well for partners and children who do not participate in the sport. Everyone can be happy!
