This older style property is in central location, in a lane close to the popular Praia d'Oura and centre of Areias de Sao João. It is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shops and is an excellent choice for families with teenagers. The property and swimming pool area has been completely refurbished to a high standard and newly furnished. The house offers well planned accommodation over two floors. Top floor: Living/dining room/ open kitchen. 1 double. 2 twins . 2 shower rooms. Ground floor: Living/dining room. kitchenette (not for cooking, light meals only) 1 master bedroom en-suite, 2 twins, 1family bathroom. NB The GF flat is only available for groups of more than six people but it won't be let to separate clients from main house. Enclosed garden with swimming pool, barbecue, poolside shower and WC.

Praia d'Oura is approximately two miles east of Albufeira. Not many years ago Praia d'Oura did not exist as a resort. Nowadays it is not so much a spin of Albufeira but is a thriving resort in it's own right, providing a good range of shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Several of this can be found along the lively area known as 'The Strip'. At the end of this, a sheepish hill leads down to the well known 'Golden beach'. Praia d'Oura has a bustling atmosphere with many market stalls along it's streets.

Further details for the villa in the Algarve, Portugal

There is a house folder with useful information and contact details of your house manager. If you have any problems you can contact her otherwise she will come to see you next day of your arrival. She will welcome you and help you with any queries you might have. The maid comes 5 times a week to clean the house, her duties are making the beds, cleaning and weekly linen change but NOT washing up, cooking, personal laundry or rubbish disposal. Please do not arrive before 4pm as the maid may not have time to finish preparing the villa. The rubbish is taken to council bins, usually found on street corners. Swimming pool and garden are looked after throughout the year, the gardener will need to visit during your holiday, he's an unobtrusive as possible, normally early morning or late evening. All linen and towels EXCEPT beach towels is included in the villa rental. Sheets are changed weekly and towels twice a week.
