Casa Passaro is situated between Silves and Lagoa and is an ideal location for families and couples. The villa is an extensively renovated traditional Algarvian house, with just a few local houses nearby. The peaceful rural setting is just 5 minutes from Silves town with its castle and historical sights, as well as bars, restaurants and supermarkets. The beautiful beaches and lovely scenery of Lagoa and Carvoeiro are within 5-8 minute drive. The nearest golf course is the newly opened Pestano Silves Golf which is less than 5 min away. Plenty of other golf courses within easy reach. Slide & Splash water park is 5 min, and Aqualand is only 8 minutes. Ideal location for exploring resorts of Porches, Armacao de Pera and Portimao. The mountains of Monchique with its spring wells and fantastic views is just 30 mins drive away. Horse riding is within 1km of the property.

Golf and Sports
Nearest golf course is Pestana Silves Golf just 5min away. There are various championship courses nearby at Carvoerio, Lagoa, Alvor, Vale do Lobo and Quinta del Lago. Horse riding is 1km from the property. The villa is ideally situated for walking, hiking, cycling.
Waterparks and beaches
Slide and Splash is just 5 minutes drive from the Villa. The larger Aqualand is just 8 minutes. There are numerous beautiful beaches within an easy drive from the villa. Carvoerio is well known for its beautiful scenery, spectacular cliffs and beach bars and cafes. Lagoa is a pretty beach resort. There are plenty of other beaches to explore and discover within a short drive.
Shopping and eating
Silves town is 5 minutes away. It is well known for its lovely castle and Roman bridge, and also has lots of restaurants, bars and cafes to choose from. Silves is a lively town with a good selection of shops and supermarkets. There is a lovely restaurant within walking distance of the villa. The local village is just a short stroll with a choice of cafes and bars.
Golf Information:
There are numerous golf courses nearby. Val de Pinto is championship standard, and popular with all players as it's adaptable to any game. Alto Golf with its 604 mtre par 5 on the 16th is thought to be the longest in Europe. The Quinta del Lago course has hosted several Portuguese opens.

Many thanks to Ray and Fran, the villa was a fantastic base for a super family holiday. The description of the villa was spot on!
Very clean and well maintained, really a home from home.
We would recommend this property to all our family and friends.
Thanks to Ray and Fran we had fantastic piri piri chicken in Silves.
Great property to stay in to access the whole of the Algarve very easily.
Hopefully we'll be back next year!
