A guest book with information on the local restaurants and cafes, golf courses and other activities in Tavira region is available for all our guest at the villa. GUEST COMMENTS: What a wonderful holiday - made all the more enjoyable by the quality of the accommodation. Not only was the villa in first class condition it was spacious and was located right next to the pool, restaurant, bar and all the Tavira garden amenities. Only fifteen minutes walk from the centre of Tavira itself, the villa was so comfortable it made lounging around the home base as relaxing as by the pool or beach. An exceptional holiday base. Golf: The villa is ideally located for golfers. The Algarve is well known for having the best golfing climate and famous for some of the best golf courses in Europe. Many of the 18 hole courses are within 5-25 minutes from the villa and most of them welcomes non-members. The nearest golf course is Benamor golf, ranked in the top 10 best golf course in Europe and is only 5 minutes drive from the villa. Other reputable golf courses close by are Quinta de Cima (voted the best course in 2004), Quinta de Ria and Castro Marim and with the Spanish border only 20 minutes drive you also have the choice of the Spanish golf courses too. Monte Rei golf and country club is is reportedly the most exclusive and cosmopolitan development in the Algarve, set in acres of beautiful country side and lies between Tavira and Vila Real Santo Antonia. Monte Rei golf course is only 20 minutes drive from the villa. The New olympic training approved sports and athletics centre located between Vila Real and Monte Gorda has a stadium for track and field, soccer, archery gymnasium and tennis centre.
