This luxurious 4 bedroom air-conditioned villa is located in the quaint town of Tavira on the Eastern Algarve. Facilities include a tennis court/ basket ball area, 2 pools, gym, bar/restaurant and a play area with swings and slides.The spacious living includes a modern fitted kitchen, lounge/dining room, comfortable lounge/bedroom. En-suite master bedroom is located on the first floor and offer garden views, whilst the ground floor has garden views and full wheelchair access. Tavira, 30 minutes from Faro airport, and 20 minutes drive to the Spanish border. It is one of the most charming & unspoilt towns on the Algarvian coast. This historical town boasts white washed houses, cobbled streets, palm tree lined riverside restaurants and cafes, Roman bridges and variety of beautiful churches. Situated within the Ria Formosa national park, it has great interest to nature lovers and bird watchers. Many of the beaches are minutes from the villa and are uncrowded, clean, with a selection of cafes and bars. There are many quality golf courses to choose from, the nearest is the prestigious 18 hole Benamor golf only 5 minutes drive from the villa. Explore the fishing village Santa Luza and Fuesta. The fully equipped kitchen has every thing needed for the family dining. Complete detail to decor and furnishings, makes this a perfect place to relax. Tavira gardens is ideal, safe and friendly for all the families. Palm villa is a few steps to the main pool and restaurant. We request that guests do not remove towels from the villa for the beach/ pool use. Beach/pool towels can be bought cheaply in the town centre or the local supermarket. Bookings: A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking to secure & confirm reservation, balance payable 8 weeks before arrival. If booking 8 weeks or less prior to arrival full amount is payable. Please make payment in sterling or bank transfer. A deposit of £200 is payable to cover any damages & extra cleaning, this deposit is fully refundable within 2 weeks at the end of your stay if there are no damages/ extra cleaning etc. No refunds for cancellation notice of 4 weeks or less. Golf: The villa is ideally located for golfers. The Algarve is well known for having the best golfing climate and famous for some of the best golf courses in Europe. Many of the 18 hole courses are within 5-25 minutes drive from the villa and most of them welcomes non-members. The nearest golf course is Benamor golf, ranked in the top 10 best golf course in Europe and is only 5 minutes drive from the villa. Other reputable golf courses close by are Quinta de Cima (voted the best course in 2004), Quinta de Ria and Castro Marim and with the Spanish border only 20 minutes drive you also have the choice of the Spanish golf courses too. Monte Rei golf and country club is is reportedly the most exclusive and cosmopolitan development in the Algarve, set in acres of beautiful country side and lies between Tavira and Vila Real Santo Antonia. Monte Rei golf course is only 20 minutes drive from the villa. The New Olympic training approved sports and athletics centre located between Vila Real and Monte Gorda has a stadium for track and field, soccer, archery gymnasium and tennis centre.

Many thanks for a wonderful holiday in your villa. It is beautiful and there are some lovely pieces in the house which make it very attractive and homely to stay in.
The facilities were marvelous especially the restaurant which I ate in several times and really enjoyed.
Mateus was particularly helpful and helped make our stay a pleasant on.
Thanks again for everything and who knows maybe we'll look to rent your villa again.

My family and I had a great time in Tavira. The villa is well equipped and furnished, with great views from the balcony. The complex offers good facilities for children with 2 pools and sports courts.

The complex has a bar and restaurant, but you are only 10 minutes walk (or 2 minutes drive) from the town centre, which features some lovely cafes and specialty fish restaurants.

Tavira is a welcome change to Vilamoura and Albuferia as it is less commercial and has a very relaxing atmosphere.

I loved Tavira, a real taste of authentc Portugal and the villa was a fabulous location to explore the town and surrounding locations. The villa was clean, beautiffuly appointed and well maintained. There was a handy local guide provided by the owner Fayann, which meant we quckly accessed the best local facilities. I would certainly recommend Tavira Gardens. Many thanks Fayann, we will be back.
