Additional information about rental rates

  • The weekly rental charges are liable to change and are for the villa as a three bed, 3 bath villa accommodating up to 6 people. Use of the basement facility and bathroom as further living or bedroom accommodation is by prior arrangement and carries an additional weekly rental charge to be agreed with the owners. Bookings of less than 2 weeks carry a supplementary charge of £50 (if basement accommodation is not required) or £65 (if basement accommodation is required) . Air conditioning is available throughout the villa at an additional charge of £85 per week. Heating to the swimming pool carries an additional weekly charge to be agreed with the owners. Included in the charges are water, gas, electricity and maid service Mon-Fri. Linen and bath towels are provided but guests are required to bring their own towels for swimming and beach use.
  • Availability and rates are subject to confirmation with the owners. Rental periods commence at 4.00 p.m. on arrival day and finish at 10.00 a.m. on departure day. Where possible bookings should run from a Thursday. A 25% deposit will secure a booking. The balance is required 6 weeks prior to the start of the rental period together with a £500 security/damage deposit which will be returned following confirmation that no damage has been incurred to the villa or its contents. Passport copies of all guests residing in the villa are also required.

Golf: Vale do Lobo hosted the Portuguese Open for two years in succession, enjoying it's own Royal and Ocean courses. In addition to these, it is situated within 10-20 minutes drive of some of the most famous golf courses in the Algarve (Quinta do Lago, Villa Sol, San Lorenzo, Pinheiros Altos and Vilamoura's 5 courses). In short, Vale do Lobo is an excellent base for any golfing holiday.

The villa is great, everything you want from a property, spacious, comfortable and very well equiped.Having had several conversations with the owners, who advised us well on the area etc, we were glad we chose this villa
Our 3 kids 13,11 and 8 had great times in the pool. it was so quiet. The night life at the plaza was great as was the food, and made even better as Steven Gerrard was there!!! Lovely walks along the beach and lazy days by the pool ! Great holiday great villa lovely weather..Kids all wanted to go back this year !!!!!!

Villa Folly is a stunning villa and well equipped for all your needs, decorated to a very high standard. Located in a beautiful, peaceful area of Vale de Lobo. We spent a week here and it was not long enough, can't wait to go back again, this time we will be going for 2 weeks !!! Would highly recommend a car during your stay. "Your home away from home"

Family Holiday

May 2008, Villa Folly was the location of our first family holiday with our 8 month old baby boy. We had never stayed in self catering accomodation before but thought it to be a good idea as we would have all we required for accommodating our baby. This was very true. From start to finish this holiday was perfect.

Villa Folly is a short drive of approx 20 mins from Faro airport and with the directions supplied we got there without any issue.

The Villa is an open plan spacious, spotlessly clean two storey accomodation with tasteful modern interior. The villa has everything one needs from microwave to outdoor Bbq with patio furniture, plasma TV, DVD player, books, games and a swimming pool with sun loungers. The Villa is cleaned on a daily basis along with the poolside garden/patio area. The pool is small but adequate for a dip and our son loved his first ever swimming experience.

Villa Folly is in a quiet location of Vale Do Lobo, where we always felt safe and was great to take advantage of a few peaceful moments by the pool whilst our son had his afternoon nap. The villa was in good walking distance of about 30 mins to beach and restaurants.

Vale do Lobo is situated on a beautiful beach with soft golden sand which stretchs for miles and miles. The restaurants in the area, are of very very high standard with a varied range of food although you do pay the price due to the high standards of the location...worth every penny.

Golf courses looked immaculate although I didnt get the opportunity to play.

All in all this was a perfect holiday and more than we could have expected. The accomodation was wonderful with every requirement one needs and the area of Vale do Lobo was magnificent with one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever walked. You do pay the price in the restaurants but you pay for what you get and this location is superb.....we will be back !!!

We stay at the villa summer 2008. A beautiful modern villa, like home from home. Very clean loads of space, we have three children and didn't get under each others feet. Location in Vale do Lobo is good, but car is essential. Overall an excellent holiday in a excellent villa.
