Villa Girassol is a spacious detached villa in its own grounds in a peaceful location on the very edge of a coastal conservation area in a low density development. From the terrace enjoy panoramic views of Portugal's spectacular coastline. There is a private heated pool (13 metres x 8 metres) an extensive sun terrace, barbecue and table tennis. The house is very well equipped to a high standard, all rooms are large with marble floors throughout. All bedrooms have air-con. Baby's cot provided.

Property located 2.5 km west of Burgau, on the fringes of the Parc Naturel, with lovely sea views; just 640meters from the nearest beach with Blue Wave Beach Bar serving snacks, lunch menu and full dining in the evening. Choice of restaurants in Burgau, a traditional Portuguese fishing village. Golf 15 min drive to the Parque da Floresta. Also tennis, bowls etc. All sea sports nearby at Luz Bay and Lagos.

Nearby there is a choice of sandy beaches, notably Praia da Luz. Lagos Bay boasts a fine marina. Sports facilities for tennis, deep sea fishing, diving, riding are available locally. The Algarve claims proudly to be a golfers paradise with many challenging courses - visitors welcome. A variety of very good restaurants within the vicinity will welcome you and your children with genuine Portuguese hospitality. There is a pub / restaurant within 8 minutes walk. A unique spot!

The description of the property was extremely accurate and the villa exceeded our high expectations. There was more than enough space for the 11 members of our party, you could find a quiet space if you wanted to or join in with the rest of the family.
The villa was beautifully maintained, very clean and more than enough crockery, cutlery and glassware for everyone, even when the dishwasher was full!! Towels were provided for the bathrooms and also for the pool area which was wonderful. The maid service was also a welcome addition.
The owner provided full information and was very friendly with her e-mail communications. Answering any of our questions straight away and providing local knowledge.
We would have no problems in recommending this villa for a large family (in our case 3 generations) holiday.
The beach was within walking distance, albeit a very steep hill back to the villa, and was worth the walk.
The villa exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful experience.
