Our Villa is ideally situated in Gale between Albufeira and Salgados in the sunny Algarve. It is new, semi detached and is very modern with two bedrooms ( One Double and one Twin.) Three Bathrooms one with bath, two with quality shower cubicles. It has a large Lounge, Dining Area and separate kitchen ( with Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine and Breakfast Table and stools ) it has two balconies and a patio and Portuguese Brick barbecue. The Lounge is well furnished with Leather bed-settee and chair, television, DVD, and coffee table. For winter months there is a log burning stove. The villa will sleep 6.

The villa is situated within 5 minutes walk of the excellent Beach at Praia de Gale yet is only 10 minutes drive from central Albufeira . It is in a quiet area but is 2 minutes walk from a 4star Luxury Hotel ( Vila Gale Atlantico) which is a good venue for a meal or entertainment. It is also within 5 minutes walk to nearest supermarket though a small shop/cafe is just across the road. For Golf Salgados Golf course is 2 minutes down the road by car and other Golf Courses are within easy reach.

Quality Villa in Gale

We have recently returned from a wonderful family holiday in Gale. This villa has most modern appliances, and furniture provided to make your stay very comfortable. Unusually, there is a stock of basic supplies for the kitchen and bathroom, pool and beach - salt/pepper, bin bags, toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, pool inflatables, beach toys, videos and CD’s etc etc - so very useful if any basic supplies have been forgotten. There is a small provisions shop within 100yds, along with two large supermarkets within a five minute walk. A family friendly beach is a pleasant 10 minute stroll away, along quiet roads. There are beach cafes, showers with toilets, and a beach with safe bathing for toddlers. Chris - the owner - was a real gem providing loads of local information to assist locating shopping centres, airport transfers, local attractions etc. Zoomarine, only 15 minutes by taxi, is an excellent day out. There is a good variety of bars and restaurants also within walking distance in most directions around town. Although the local bus service isn't too reliable there are plenty of taxis when required - these being more cost effective for larger parties - we found that we didn't need to hire a car.
I am very pleased to recommend the hire of this villa to friends and family as I know that they will not be disappointed.

Situated within short walking distance from a few bars, restaurants and shops, also within easy reach of lovely beaches, Villa Figuera is an ideal base for your holiday or a great place to just relax. Gale provides a good variety of restaruants to choose from.

In the two weeks that myself & my family stayed there we found it very peaceful (totally chilled) and with added personal touches the villa felt like a home from home. Most nights we had a BBQ & sat outside watching the sun go down & the stars appear. This luxury villa has a large beautiful garden & private pool which only on a few occasions did we have to share with other guests.

Chris the owner was fantastic (very helpful) even down to arranging an airbed so that our 3 yr old could sleep in the same room as us.

If you have a toddler then a travel safety gate may be advisable as the villa has a tiled staircase between floors).

Recommended attraction - Zoo marine, approximately 10 mins by car is a fantastic day out for the young & old. There are plenty of places to purchase food, however to make the most of your day we suggest that you take a pack lunch with you.

Thanks Chris for all your help and advice prior to our holiday and for allowing us to stay in your lovely villa.

what an experience. We have never had such a lovely holiday. The villa is first class a real home away from home in its room appearance cleanliness facilities. So much thought put into the litttle details .... the attention to detail. the owner is a simply delightful gentleman and we will be back next year. it took a little getting used to the morning call from the rooster but we learned to sleep through it. We have 4 young children and they had an absolute ball. It was the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. Thank you chris see you next year.

Iv just got back from my stay at the villa in Gale, and i must say it is a fantastic place ideally situated and a beautiful relaxing place in its fabulous grounds with a private swimming pool.
The villa is everything i imagined it to be and with walking distance to the beach and shops.
Cant wait to book again. I will certainly recommend this to anyone wanting to go to Portugal.

An excellent villa in an ideal location

I have stayed here with family and friends on a number of occasions over the past couple of years and always have great time.

The villa is ideally situated for the beach in a quiet location and with good restaurants and bars close by. It is a great place to get away from it all and ideal base to explore the Algarve coast.

The villa boasts every amenity you will ever need and is real home from home. The location is ideal for families and you can enjoy the sunrise on the rear terrace where we had breakfast every morning and after a day on the beach, relax on the front terrace and watch the sun go down.

I always stay here when I visit Portugal and have no hesitation in recommending it as a great place to stay when visiting the Algarve, you won't be disappointed.
