For a truly Portuguese experience Casa rua do Carmo is located in the centre of Moncarapacho which is a small country town in the middle of an area which is home to orange growing and horticulture. It exudes a calm, unhurried atmosphere of people going about their business in a relaxed and friendly way. In the morning you can walk to the local bakery to buy fresh bread and pastries. Then sit outdoors in the sun sipping a coffee at one of the many terraced cafe/restaurants. During the Summer the 2 main squares provide stages for live music & dancing. Sardines can be bought freshly cooked from the BBQ. The town offers all the necessary facilities; banks, post office, internet, supermarkets and other shops, petrol station, meat/fish/vegetable market, restaurants and plenty of pavement cafés. It even has its own tiny museum and pottery. Fuseta beach is only a short 5 minute car journey away. For the true Portuguese experience this is the perfect location and house to enjoy your holiday.
