Vilar do Golf: The fitness centre at Vilar do Golf has a gymnasium, beautician, massage centre and saunas. There is a children's club during the summer months and this has many activities to keep the children occupied. There are 2 adults pools, an indoor pool, a children's pool and a poolside bar with a restaurant. There are sunbeds and parasols available. There is a tennis centre - coaching available - and 4 tennis courts. Also in the complex is a medical centre, a coffee shop, a supermarket and a gift shop.

The Beach and Other Nearby Attractions: The beach at Ria Fermosa is 3km long and has a beach bar which in addition to food also rents sun beds, parasols and watersports equipment. There is a lifeguard on duty during the summer months. There is a fishing centre attached to the Watersports Centre where you can hire rods etc and fish for many different varieties of fish. Wind surfing, water skiing, diving and sailing are also available at the Watersports Centre. Equestrian Centres nearby and can organise treks etc. For nature lovers, The Ria Fermosa Natural Park is home to many rare birds.

Shopping and Dining: The Quinta do Lago shopping centre - a short drive away - has many shops, boutiques and restaurants. There are several good restaurants within the vicinity of Vilar do Golf. The nearby town of Amancil is also good for shopping and dining.

Golf: There are four golf courses in the Quinta do Lago estate. There is also a driving range and practice nearby.

Good Quinta do Lago summer / golf holiday spot

Well kept villa in a very quiet and pleasant location, overlooking Quinta do Lago Sul golf course. Nice garden for children to play. Within walking distance to the Quinta do Lago golf courses clubhouse, tennis facilities and the Vilar do Golf reception / supermarket. Very near the beach.

Everything went well and according to what was planned (including twice a week cleaning and linen service).

A DVD player would be a nice add-on for kids to watch movies.

I recommend this property for a family vacation with kids and certainly for a golf vacation, due to its very convenient and quiet location.

Located on the best place of the "gold triangle", quinta do lago, this villa stands on one of the finest location inside the Vilar do Golf development.
Overlooking the golf course, the view from its terraces and windows reaches the quinta do lago lake, is breathetaking and brings you the feeling of beeing almost alone in a wide property.
The villa itself is well equipeded, but has normal finishings and should be updated to actual standarts.
