Monte das Pedras is a privately owned house situated in one acre of south facing hillside with panoramic views of the valley and village of Gorjöes beyond. The tranquil natural rock garden setting makes for an ideal 'get away from it all' holiday. Whilst secluded, it is ideally situated between the towns of São Bras de Alportel (a typical Algarvian town) and the well-known market town of Loulé. Good shopping and restaurants are all within 6 kilometres, with a superb French restaurant nearby. Extensive terracotta terraces surround the house and large private pool with furniture, sun-loungers and barbecue for al fresco dining. A roof terrace is ideal for sun-tanning or a cool evening place to view the Mediterranean sunsets and night sky. Shade is provided by bamboo covered terraces. The house is recently furnished in local pine with comfortable settees and an open fire for cooler evenings. French windows open onto the breakfast terrace with extensive views south across the olive groves

Notes to the rental rates

• The above prices are for occupancy of FOUR people. RATES ARE INCREASED FOR 6 PEOPLE - PLEASE ENQUIRE. The pool can be heated for an additional £85 per week- please indicate whether you wish this. Price includes maid service twice a week for cleaning, a good welcome pack of groceries and the services of a local English manager. Swimming towels are not provided. Payment by £sterling cheque please. A deposit cheque of £200 or 20% of rental, whichever is the greater, will be required with a completed booking form which we will send you following a confirmatory telephone call from us, if you wish to continue with the booking . The final payment will be due 6 weeks before departure together with a separate £200 breakage deposit cheque, which we do not bank and is destroyed if there is no deduction to be made. We will also be happy to arrange low cost car rental with a reliable well established local company. Please call us if you have any questions at all.
