Relaxing holiday villa

We stayed for only a week at the villa in September 2011, and wish we had stayed for longer.
The villa is very private, yet has good access to local towns, particularly Loule, and is a short drive to a major supermarket, which we found very useful. Although there are numerous restaurants within easy reach, we preferred to cook and eat at the villa, as the kitchen was so well equipped, not something you usually find in a holiday rental, and the various patios around the house were lovely for al fresco eating.
The property is maintained to a high standard throughout, and is spacious. Although there were only the two of us, the property would really suit a young family. All the rooms are spacious, the pool is lovely, and the garden and outside areas can be explored and enjoyed by all.
Getting from Faro airport was easy, the directions provided were really clear. The only thing we would do differently would be to accept Angela's kind offer to sort the car hire for us - the firm recommended by Jet2 were not very good!
All in all, a lovely holiday at a great location. We very much hope to return and would highly recommend Monte das Pedras.
