Our luxury house/villa is fully air conditioned with satellite widescreen TV & washing machine, is situated in the exclusive 4* Ponta Grande resort. There is a large terrace with a lovely ocean view. The resort has a large communal pool and separate children’s pool. There is also a children’s playground, tennis court, crazy golf, internet and a games room with pool tables and video games. The 24hr English & Portuguese speaking reception offers many services. The complex has its own bar, pool/snack bar, separate restaurant serving excellent food and a mini-market nearby. There are also many other restaurants within walking distance. The villa is ideally equipped for all your self-catering needs. Entertainment is available most nights with additional kids entertainment daily at peak times. Nearby Albufeira has many shops and attractions. There are up to 5 further beautiful beaches within a 5minute drive. Lots of golf courses are accessible with Salgados golf course a 5 minute drive away

There are up to 5 further beautiful beaches within a 5 minute drive of Sao Rafael. Gale beach is particularly child friendly with a gentle gradient. You are also well positioned to discover the many attractions of the whole Algarve region and can quite easily even drop into Spain for the day, which is less than an hours drive. Local attractions include 2 water parks, Zoomarine theme park where you can swim with dolphins, boat trips and many other excursions. Beautiful walks with stunning scenery. There are a number of very fine restaurants within walking distance of Sao Rafael. Numerous golf courses are accessible with Salgados links golf course a 5 minute drive away near Salgados beach. Algarve shopping centre is also a 10 min drive away with bowling and a cinema complex. Sao Rafael is located just 3km from Albufeira. Golf packages can be arranged. Albufeira Old Town is just a 5 min taxi ride away.

All kitchen utensils needed for self catering are provided. Our sea view house is one of only a few in Ponta Grande equipped with its own Washing Machine. Please bring your own towels for the beach and pool. All bed linen and bath towels are provided. These are changed weekly. Smoking is only allowed outside on the patio. Satellite TV with English channels are available. English speaking 24 hour reception. Wireless internet is available around the main reception, bar and restaurant area and a computer with internet access is located in the Games room along with a small selection of reading books. Reception offers many services including a limited bus service into nearby Albufeira. Discount golf can be arranged. Transfers to/from Faro airport can be arranged or car hire if needed.
