It enjoys a superb location in a small residential area with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside only 6-8 minutes walk to a famous local restaurant and a supermarket and are close to golf courses, water parks, Albufeira Marina, Zoomarine, Algarve Shopping and only 3-4 minutes drive from the Old Town of Albufeira with great bars, restaurants, unforgettable nightlife and beautiful golden beaches.

Villa Carreira is a very spacious 3 bedroom villa ( all bedrooms en-suite ) with a south facing private swimming pool and accommodation split as follows. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom, fully fitted kitchen and spacious living / dining room ( over 30m2 ) with satellite TV, CD/DVD, safe and patio doors leading to a very large terrace with swimming pool, umbrellas and sun loungers. If you enjoy grilling there is a purpose build brick barbecue for those unforgettable summer evenings outside with bottle of wine. Half way through the staircase to the first floor there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and veranda overlooking the pool.On the first floor there is another bedroom with two single beds, en-suite bathroom and veranda. Wireless internet available. Parking space is provided. Housekeeper/caretaker lives on the property site in an annex with a separate entrance.

Algarve is a region renowned for its mild and sunny climate, its miles of glorious sandy beaches with their stunning rock formations and its excellent sport facilities. It boasts an average of 3000 hours of sunshine per year. Its mild all year round with virtually no rain in the summer months. February sees the start of the spring and its warm in October. The old town of Albufeira which perches on the cliff top overlooking the beach, retains a distinctive Moorish character and you can still see the fisherman bringing in their catch on Praia dos Pescadores (Fisherman's beach) There are 2 excellent local restaurants, both with bars open until late within about 8 minutes walk of the villas and another one during the summer months at the near by Clube Albufeira with famous barbecues on Wednesdays nights where you can eat as much as you like! Algarve Shopping with food store, many restaurants, bowling and cinemas is only few minutes by car as is Zoomarine, water parks, nightlife & golf.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Arrive on any day of the week (flights are normally much cheaper midweek) but please note in high season it may only be possible to arrive on same day as the previous guests are checking out. We will do our best to accommodate your request with your chosen travel dates.
  • - All rates are per villa per week based on up to 5 guests ( the villa can sleep up to 6 guests ( or 7 guests with a cot ) and the cost for additional person above 5pax is from £70.00 to £140.00 per week )

    - Check in from 3pm on the day of arrival, check out at 10am on the day of departure (this is to allow time to clean the villa for next arrival). If you flight is late, luggage can be stored at the villa.

    - Air conditioning available in the living room and all 3 bedrooms at additional cost payable locally if required. Please ask for more details.
  • - 30% deposit required when making a reservation.
    - Balance is payable at least 6 weeks before arrival.
    - Payment can be made in sterling to our bank in UK or by bank transfer to our bank in Portugal.
    - Breakage deposit of €250.00 (approx. £230.00) must be paid on arrival in cash and will be refunded on departure providing no damage occurred.

Car Hire, Taxi transfer from Airport & local info.: For guests wishing to rent a car we can make arrangements with a local car firm at competitive rates with efficient and personal service. You can pick up the car in Faro Airport or have it delivered direct to the villa. We can also reserve airport transfer from Faro Airport. The driver will await your arrival and bring you direct to the villa. The cost is from €43.00 for up to 4pax and €52.00 for 5-6pax and the journey usually takes about 35 minutes. - The are two excellent local restaurants (both with bars) within 8 minutes walk. Ideal if you like country walks. Very close to the villa you will find a long country lane where you can enjoy the beauty of Algarvian countryside.- Zoomarine and water parks (children will love it !) are 10-20 minutes by car. - Golf courses are only 10 - 15 minutes by car and sandy beaches of Albufeira about 5 minutes. A superb choice for your dream holiday at an unbeatable price !

GOLF INFORMATION: There are currently 25 golf courses in the space of 100 miles of coastline, with more under construction. Most of the Algarve golf courses are within half an hour drive from our villas, some only 10 minutes. Over the last few years the Portuguese Open has been hosted variously at Penina, Vila Sol and Sao Lourenzo, all of which may be included in the list of top European championship courses. Warm playing conditions and immaculately manicured fairways and greens are the norm in the Algarve. The choice is simply superb.

Wonderful holiday in Villa Carreira

We are now back in Sweden after a wonderful vacation in Portugal. Thanks Andrew for excellent service from our first contact until we went home. Our grandchildren loved the pool. We can highly recommend Villa Carreira to friends and others. It was clean and tidy and plenty of room for all of us seven.

From booking the holiday to arriving, the excellent service we recieved from Andrew made for an enjoyable holiday. The luxury of maid service three times a week, fresh towels and bed linen, what more could we ask for.Ample space in the villa for the five of us, having three bathrooms made things easier for getting ready to go out not all tripping over one another.Location was away from all the night life, but that suited us, we were able to get cabs down to Old Albufeira. You could walk down but it would take good 20 minutes.
We would not hesitate to recommend to our friends.
