For golf enthusiasts the Alto Club and Penina golf courses are 5-10minutes drive. The long sandy beach which boasts various eateries is only 1.5 miles away. Satellite TV, Video, CD/Radio/DVD. Wood-burning stove. Fully equipped kitchen. Terraces front and rear with lawn area. BBQ. Sun loungers. Ample car parking.

General: The villa is tastefully furnished. Views over countryside and farmland. Spectacular sunsets.

Local Area: Alvor is an ancient coastal village, well located facing a natural lagoon opening onto the sea. The long sandy beach is one of the best on the Algarve. There are many excellent restaurants in the narrow streets many serving the day's catch on the BBQ. For late night entertainment it is worth visiting Praia de Rocha. Traditional shopping is best in Portimao. There are many places of history to visit including Lagos, Silves, Loule or take a Jeep Safari to the Monchique mountains with spectacular views. The new marinas at Portimao, Lagos and Praia de Rocha are well worth a visit.

Golf Information: The Algarve boasts some of the best golf courses in Europe. The nearest courses to the villa are the Championship Course at Penina an the Alto Club

Other Activities: lawn bowling

Very quiet complex with lovely swimming pool area for adults and children. Villa is well maintained to high standard cleanliness and furnishings.
This was our second year here and will definately be back.
The town is also very quaint and not too busy.
