The villa and cottages are situated in the centre of the Algarve in a quiet rural area with orange groves and olive trees, but also only 20 minutes drive to the seaside. In the large garden with tropical plants is a pool (14x5 m), barbecue area, 2 lawns,shelter with pooltable (works on 1 euro coins),darts, shuffle board and several places to sit privately. Ideal for your holiday with family and/or friends, but also if you only want to rent just one cottage for 2 people.

Quinta Brancor Villa has 2 floors. On the ground floor a hallway, double bedroom, dining room, living room, kitchen, bathroom with toilet, shower and washstand. Outside large terrace. 1st floor: 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom, bathroom with bath/shower, toilet and double washstand and a very, very large terrace (118 m2) Outside large garden with barbecue area and pool (14x5m).

Occasionaly a shepherd passes with a large herd of sheep or a donkey-cart. Very close you can meet the friendly local people. Or you can visit nearby places, like the market town Messines, historical Silves with museums and castle, Monchique with its famous springs, old Roman baths and high mountains with stunning views. South you can go to the coast, with ancient fishermans villages or the more touristic seaside resorts. Directly south, just before Albufeira is the Algarve shopping centre with many restaurants and various shops, from smaller boutiques to large supermarkets.

Additional information about rental rates

  • We ask a safety deposit of £150 which will be returned at the end of the stay if there are no damages or loss of keys etc.
    Price for final cleaning 60 euros.
    Price for heating in winter time 10 euros per night
  • Payment first 50% at booking. Last 50% 1 month before the start of your stay.
    If the booking time is less than 1 month before the start of your stay the whole amount has to be payed at once at booking time. If the whole amount is payed at once at booking time and the booking time is more than 4 months before the start of the stay we give you a 10% discount.
    The booking is only then definite when the amount is received on our bankaccount and will then be confirmed by us.
  • We have 2 normal and 6 mountain bikes. Rental rates: £3,50 per bike per day or £15 per bike per week.

Notes: The childrens bed is with high sides and is 60x120 cm. It is possible to place an extra folding bed 2 of the 3 bedrooms. There are 6 mountain bikes and 2 normal bikes for hire. Price 5 euros per day per bike or 20 euros per week per bike. The beachchairs are sunbeds, 2 with normal mattresses and 6 by the pool with waterproof mattresses.

After having such a wonderful holiday here in 2008 our family group of 16 decided to return again in 2009. Again we had a fantastic family holiday together, made even better with the addition of the 'games room' which houses darts, shuffle board, a table for poker/card games and the highlight of the games room - a pool table, which was used by the whole family.

The owners Angela and Cor were really friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. They helped out with transport for shopping and even a visit to the hospital, and gave us lots of advice about the best attractions.

Everyone enjoyed lounging around and having lots of fun in the swimming pool which is a very good size and is cleaned and replenished every day.

The accomodation was once again excellent and housed our large family group comfortably, plenty of bathrooms made sure there were no long queues or mishaps.

Both cottages and the main villa have private entrances and kitchens. The main kitchen is modern and well equipped - even for the Jamie Olivers and Gordon Ramsays of the world. It is easy to cook up a family feast in this large kitchen and we enjoyed many meals here.

The children enjoyed exploring in the gardens and surrounding area and had fun collecting the fruit which had fallen from the trees.

As a group, we would highly reccommend this villa to large family groups, even those who do not have a car. We used the very reliable taxi company "Bravo Tur" for journeys to the water parks and to the the Old town, and Algarve shoping centre.

We have again had a superb holiday together and will definetely return some time in the future.

We thank Angela and Cor for their wonderful hospitality and look forward to seeing them again in the future.
